TT is absolutely perfect, Netherrealm, while a perfect fit in terms of being a fighting game studio, is a PR headache.

The news here is “yes they are looking as they already said, and these companies are possibilities”. Acquisitions take a looooong time so just sit back, relax, and enjoy the games in the meantime.

after zenimax acquisition absolutly no one is safe, the xbox division having direct support from the microsoft CEO could not result in another scenario

Yes, if Xbox really wants something they have shown they are not afraid to come up with the money. The two rumoured studios have long been suspected to be major targets for Xbox so let’s wait and see if the deals can be closed.
