So there’s an argument to be made that because certain events didn’t come to pass, and this thread has derailed spectacularly that perhaps the acquisition thread should be closed.
Many are against this because they fear that… whatever the hell happened to this thread will happen elsewhere.
However, there may be some merits to doing something about this thread, because well, OtherERA uses this thread in particular as particular “Everything that’s wrong with us” example.
I was reading some of the posts last night, and while I admit I sometimes may go a little to far, I don’t think we’re that bad, but apparently many in the Xbox OT in OtherERA don’t think very highly of XboxERA because of the doom/shit/acquisition posting.

If you can’t have a negative opinion then what’s the point of a forum anyway? The way i see it most of this thread is just speculation and people replying why in a realistic sense it could or could not happen. I don’t really see the problem. Also the meme of every day being a waiting day this week has been hilarious i love it lmao

It’s not some much the negative opinion, it’s that to some the inmates are running the asylum here and it could be off putting for new users who aren’t use to… some of us.
I never really cared about Resetera, so their opinion doesn’t mean much to me.
