I think the shoe string budget for most of the XB1 era dictated their interest.
Has no value due what went down in 2013, no way MS spend money on buying it, and it would likely be a lot
And you think posting a gif helps?
Blink twice if you are being held at gunpoint.
Why would the Ryse IP be a lot? Its close to irrelevant and easily reproducible.
I think Crytek maybe getting acquired though, just not by MS. Embracer seem the likely candidates
Crytek can charge whatever they want, they are the owners
Because the game will start with a fan base already, not to mention a gameplay reveal showing the improvements would silence all the negativity from the first game. Atleast that’s my opinion of the situation.
Do we have any sales figures on Ryse? Stats? Any idea of how it performed on Xbox and PC?
I liked Ryse… A new game with current Xbox-money and resources can be great.
They can ask for 4 billion it doesnt mean its worth that.
We as xbox fans deserve better than “Ryse”.
30% attach rate. At launch I guess, so if I’m correct, that would be 1.3 million when there were something like +4 million Xbox One shipped or on the market.
Though Crytek said they weren’t happy with the sales of Xbox One (regarding Ryse 2 and the install base).
i honestly wouldn’t be mad about Crytek
Nah
We 100% deserve a Ryse that has had the time and budget it deserves to be something fantastic.
People don’t want to accept it, but make no mistake, Ryse was at least partially inspiration for God of War 2018

Ugh. (That tweet)
But do we deserve better than a Ryse 2?
On Gamestat (not really reliable and closed late 2020 but still interesting), they say that Ryse had a total playercount of 9.7 million.
Though the game was GWG in 2017 and later entered in Game Pass.
So wholesome!
Why y’all keep tagging me? I’m trying to sleep and I come in thinking someone else said something racist that requires some moderation and shit….
