All very true. Iâm just not a fan of seeing games get revealed early and I have wait years for gameplay followed by a few more years for an actual release. Thatâs another thing that bugs me especially since 2020. Stop putting release dates on your games. Announce the game 18 months out at most and announce the release date 3 months out.
I see Gotham Knights set for October and until that shit goes Gold which isnât even a guarantee, im thinking delay. Dead Space Remake January 2023. Yeah, in my mind, im thinking delay because every damn game gets delayed which is fine but I wouldnât mind it if they never had a date to begin with. Internal delay, okay, sure. I donât know anything about that so I canât complain but seeing a date so far in advance and then I see a delay, im like, why even put a date on your game to begin with? Just freaking wait until youâre 100% certain you can hit the date that youâll announce.

Haha. I know of their games but have never followed them. Only started following them a little over two years ago when they had a good long gameplay trailer for Diablo IV. Would love to see that third person cancelled Starcraft Ghost game be resurrected.
I care, just like I cared for OG XBox and 360 games being added to MS BC programme and Iâm bored of the Covid being in work never mind in the games industry. SONY has been able too put of a number of In-House games on the PS5/4 this past year, weâve got like 3 from MS.
I donât want to read any more of how many Studioâs MS now has, that 2023 or 2024 will be the best year ever for XBox . Weâre 2 years in (almost) and all MS got to show for its massive investment in new studios is Horzion 5 and Psychonauts 2 and so far nothing for this year.
I just hope MS showcase will deliver and in a way I think it will.

All of the games Sony delivered/will deliver this year were delayed out of 2021.
Literally everyone is experiencing delays due to Covid.

They still got the games out, it wasnât like Halo wasnât delayed. You just look at what SONY has done since the launch of the PSV to that of MS and its telling game wise. Much like with with a football Club going into the offseason, you got to give fans hope that good stuff is coming for the end of the year
Part of me is thinking mind That MS knows its got good stuff for this year and its just waiting for the Showcase to tell the world

Because Sonyâs studios are already up to speed, staffed up, used to their tech and have established a cadence of releases. Most of Xboxâs studios had prior commitments they had to see through before they could really get going. It was never going to take 2 or 3 years for the output to improve. Even without Covid, it was always going to take longer.
Turn 10 was already up to speed and yet weâre still waiting to see anything decent from Forza 8 (though I hope it will make it out this year) So were RARE but it looks like weâll not see Everwild for years.
Studio and PR management needs to be better

Yeah, because they rebuilt their entire engine from scratch so they could reboot Forza Motorsport as a next-gen title, while also assisting Playground on Forza Horizon 5 AND Fable, while ALSO likely assisting 343 on Halo Infinite.
Turn 10 are not a gigantic studio. Give them a chance to show the game in a few weeks.

Turn 10 are rebuilding the game in new engine with new physics and stuff. Obviously it would take more time than just rereleasing the same game again.
I find people to be dishonest when they criticize Xbox but dont properly criticize Playstation.
-Timed exclusives dont count. Remasters dont count.
-Playstation makes crossgen games right now.
-God of War looks last gen.
-Gran Turismo is not in the same league as Forza.
Like people act like Playstation is doing great but my PS5 collects dust and is boring and there are no current gen games coming either. Might as well just own a PS4 at this point.

I doubt theyâre rebuilding their engine 100% from scratch and weâll have to see if its next gen only and itâs not unusual to have In-House studios share and help with tools Ect. Lets hope the game will be ready this year.
I say âGood Luckâ to folks that MS has good stuff for this year and hope that we can somehow prevent complaints of 2022 releases out of the Showcase thread.
Iâm kinda over the discussion of âXbox has so many studio A/B/C/X/Y/Z and they still canât put games out?â. Anyone should be able to look at the timeline of when these studios were acquired and what they had been working on and understand why 2022 is light.
Comparing it to Sony, who has owned all of these developers for a long time and didnât have to deal with existing agreements is like covering your eyes and ears to get your point across.

Iâm no fan of SONY or Nintendo, but one canât help but say that SONY has done a better job of getting content out from its Studios. Halo Infinite and Forza Horzion are also gross gen, but at least XBox was far more open about being cross gen than SONY
My PS V gets hardly any play and the less said about the Switch the better , I havenât enjoyed a console as much as the Series X since the Saturn. But when looks at the new gen, SONY with the likes of GT 7, Horzion Zero Dawn 2, Miles Morales, Sackboy Demon Souls, Returnal SONY done a better job at the moment, even if the only games I like out of them is Sackboy and GT7.

And one more thing, everyhing fades to black. You hear the signature whirring sound and three green lights power up on screen and dissappear. Then on the screen coming exclusively to Xbox 2025!
Microsoft should go after People Can Fly, they donât seem to be doing all too well. Theyâve worked with Microsoft in the past
