Assassins creed: Odyssey (Fate of Atlantis) and Dark souls 3 for the 3rd time!
A whole lot of MCC on Steam and not much else.
Been addicted to Horizon 4 again
Currently I am playing Yakuza: Kiwami 2. I have never played a Yakuza game but wanted to give one a try with Like A Dragon looking so cool at the June Showcase.
I have to say I have been having a lot of fun playing and streaming the game! I am glad Game Pass exists and I can try these games that I have traditionally ignored. This might be one of my new favorite franchises.
Had to follow up…75 hours into the game and just reached ACT III. I can safely say that barring the game falling off a cliff that it will be a 9.5/10, my 2020 goty and my 2nd or 3rd best game of the generation. My top 5 are - The Witcher III, God of War, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
Tsushima is simply fucking amazing. What a game. Sucker Punch deserves major props in my opinion. My PS4 going out with a BANG!!!
I flit about a lot but Halo:MCC, Gear Tactics and probably more often sailing the seas of The Sea of Thieves.
I started playing Elite Sniper 4 last night. Great game, I can’t believe I waited so long to try this one out.
I’m trying to play through a few games before I pick this one up. Those pics I have seen look amazing.
I’m currently playing through all of the Gears games. I started Wednesday night and I just finished ‘Judgement’ about an hour ago. I never got around to playing 4 or 5 so I’m looking forward to finally getting caught up.
Game is an easy 10/10 in visuals. The art style and direction is superb. Definitely make sure you have free time to play Tsushima before picking up because it can be a huge game depending on how you play.
I’m finishing halo reach for the first time and I’m playing ghost of tsushima. I tried to play reach earlier this year and it didn’t grab me, dropped it early on. After xbox games showcase I was hyped for some halo so decided to give reach some more time and I enjoyed it. Can’t wait for halo infinite.
Ghost of tsushima is good but I’m early on so I’ll see how it turns out. I enjoy open world games like this one so it should be up my alley.
Apex Legends has been my staple multiplayer shooter since it was released. Outside of that playing Slay the Spire which is making me reminisce about my old MtG habit…
Finished Battlepass Season 4 in CoD MW and looking forward to S5. Meanwhile I’ve begun with Carrion … had a lot of fun with this so far ^^
I’m hearing a lot about Carrion, would anyone mind giving me a bit more information on what it is?
I’ve recently finished Hellblade and Ori so from a single-player perspective I’ve recently made a start on The Outer Worlds and Resident Evil 7 (I’m really not feeling this atm though but trying to stick it out).
When it comes to MP games, generally, I’ve been playing a lot of Apex Legends but I’ve just picked up Rogue Company and Rocket Arena and I’ve been enjoying playing those (I’ve really enjoyed playing non-BR games). I’ve also started playing Grounded with some friends and trying to dip into MCC when I get a chance.
I am playing on my Xbox one x and currently I am playing Far Cry 5, great game. Just finished 3 and 4. I am getting ready for 6…
Carrion is basically a reverse horror game where you’re the monster, hunting down humans in a pixelated 2D metroidvania exploration model. The movement is real meaty, there’s a lot of cool stuff happening throughout the story, and it has a great style. It’s probably worth your time.
Also great to find a fellow Rocket Arena player I picked it up just before Season 1 began and I’m absolutely loving it, such a fun and addictive gameplay loop. Played 18 matches in a row last night, mainly with Boone as his rocket-shotgun is quite the DPS machine that nets you kills and assists everywhere. Had a Knockout match with 13 kills with him, what a beast he is!
SoT is such a great game. I‘ve been playing it a lot with two good friends recently. We tried the galleon for the first time yesterday and just couldn‘t stop sailing and looting for 5 hours straight . We‘ve managed to sink several skeleton ships and one player brigandine that attacked us. But we were also destroyed twice by a from a crew with a galleon that was on a reaper mission. One time they defeated us in a fair fight, and the second time two of them invaded our ship when we were on a treasure hunt and burned or ship to the ground. One of our crew members managed to accidentally demolish and sink our ship as well, when he activated one of the barrels full of black powder.
So much fun. SoT is one of the best multiplayer games I‘ve ever played.
In addition I recently played:
Grounded (has a lot of potential and is a lot of fun)
Carrion (almost finished. Controls are a little janky but I loved it nonetheless)
The Gardens Between (Relaxing and melancholic. Great game)
Fable II (Just started a new game. Can‘t wait for the next entry in the series)
Sounds interesting! Is it a long game? I’m looking for shorter single player experiences at the moment.
Yeah I’ve really enjoyed Rocket Arena so far, I was pretty bummed when I learned it was £25 as I remember when it used to be a F2P title which put me off a little but when the discount came up I jumped in and then got in on the battle pass. It is a lot of fun, I’m into the water girl character (I cannot remember her name) her ability is a lot of fun!
Finished the witcher amazing game. Now playing grounded graphics are stunning and the game play is brilliant also playing call of duty I was a massive battlefield v fan but kind of fell out of love with that one
Carrion is fairly short, haven’t finished it myself yet but I’m reading anything between 4 and 8 hours based on how much you explore.
Rocket Arena’s launch was completely butchered by EA. Low visibility, new IP, unknown developer, a lukewarm beta (and the game that only marginally resembles it now considering it was first person and now it’s third) - no way a 30 dollar launch made sense. Hell, even the latest Plants VS Zombies shooter (a far bigger IP with known and loved prior games) basically flopped when EA sent it out to die at that price with no visibility whatsoever, so Rocket Arena had 0 chances. Kudos for them to working out a way to get players in however: all these free weekends, EA Access deals, codes given out for free and massive discounts are seemingly generating interest, as 0-5-10 bucks for a good multiplayer game is something many are certainly more okay with.
You’re talking about Amphora, and while she isn’t one of my mains, she’s a great character that I more than once like to pull out especially in the mode with the bomb objectives to conquer. 2-3 enemies are on top of a base? No problem, I turn into a squid, get under them and bam, they’re no longer on the base
