What are you currently playing?

I finished Gears Tactics on Experienced a few days ago, pretty good game with flaws for sure but still worth playing if you like the genre and Gears - gameplay was super fun and the bosses were excellent! I am planning to check out the post-game Veteran missions too.

Also last night I started another playthrough on one of my favorite games ever, Dead Space 2 (planning to also replay Dead Space 3 after that)! Man I love this game so much, the pacing of this game is god-tier…it never gets boring and there is always something new, interesting and surprising in every turn. Every sound, enemy and item is placed in such a careful and meticulous way to make you always be on your toes and feel uneasy. Visuals, art direction and location variety is also a big step up from the first game…they did some amazing things on the 360 with the lighting and post processing effects.

After DS2/3 I am planning to play Call of the Sea as a little break before diving into Υakuza: Like a Dragon which I got yesterday (the steelbook is really cool).

Still AC Origins. On this play through I’m currently at 70 hours and still to do the two dlc’s. Loving it and I’ve been watching Spartacus series and HBO’s Rome during this journey.

Probably will move onto A Plague Tale Innocence next.

Fantastic game, before Valhalla my favourite Assassin’s Creed - now I’m not sure. Ancient Egypt is just such an epic location. Also, you’re in luck - DLC2 is some of the best thing ever seen in the entire franchise!

I just started Cyberpunk 2077… Wish me luck!

Yeah I’ve heard the final dlc is the pinnacle. Which is great as when I played through before I stopped at level 35 and the end of the main story. Should be an epic finale. Like you say there is something mystical and fascinating about ancient Egypt which I dont believe has ever been captured as well in a game before.

Been playing Origins too. Just beat the main story. Actually the first AC game I ever finished. Trying to get all the achievements. Also playing a lot of CyberPunk as well.

Been playing RDR2 and the game is soo beautiful and its refreshing to see open world not being swarmed with icons and pointless mini quests for grinding.

There is too much of going forth back and forth between missions and it takes too long some times. This works well in Gta V because driving is fun compared to horse riding and you get to destinations quicker.

The player movement is also really stiff for me I also dont like the games forces you to walk slowly and clicking A button to run gets tiring.

Since December 10th Cyberpunk has taken 95% of my gaming time, I just can’t put the game down, it’s so good, I just keep thinking of how it would’ve been received if it had been delayed another 6 months because what CDPR achieved here is magnificent, I will definitely do another play through once the Series X patch is ready, hopefully there’s an expansion on the level of Hearts of stone or Blood and Wine in the works like CDPR did with The Witcher 3.

Yeah that game takes some time to get used to, I just couldn’t get into it when it was on GamePass but really like the world and exploring it in my horse so ended up buying it when it was on sale, whenever I’m done with Cyberpunk I will try to finally finish it.

Ya, I think give it a year and I am hoping Cyberpunk will be in a really good state.

RDR 2 takes a long time to get used to I am 12 hours in and I am used to it but not a fan of how the movement is handled.

Just Finished Halo 4. What a game. Absolutely loved it.

A Confession, I actually really liked the artstyle. I can understand it a bit different from the legacy Halo aesthetic but on its own merits its really good. Also never felt like I was not playing a Halo game like many streamers and gamers ranted about.

The graphics and story are quite good. Only one thing I disliked was the anticlimactic confrontation with the Didact. Everything leading to him was epic. Expect for that I loved game.

Don’t have any opinion regarding the multiplayer as I am not a multiplayer person.

Really wish they port Halo 5 to the PC before Infinite, So that I can finish all the games and story arc before Halo Infinite releases.

Finishing Cyberpunk 2077 really put me in the mood for some Deus Ex. I already did everything there was to do in Human Revolution, across 3 playthroughs, so I’ve started my second run through Mankind Divided. Going for full stealth/hacking/no kills this time.

15 very quick hours later… Holy shit I forgot just how incredible this game was. Prague, small though it may be, is a joy to explore. It’s simply full of stuff to find & do. Side quests, points of interest, little hidden secrets on the other side of a breakable wall or through a vent… It’s brilliant. I’m having a great time.

Fell straight back into the comfortable feel of moving around in stealth as well. The way the camera instantly pulls out to third-person view when Jensen enters cover is so smooth & makes such a difference when it comes to surveying his surroundings & planning my next move. That was a bit of genius from the developers.

Also played a couple more missions in Gears Tactics. Still love it :+1:

I just wrapped up Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity this afternoon. It was a lot of fun, enjoyed it quite a bit despite not being a super fan of musou. I’m going to be juggling a number of games I’m borrowing from the library next:

-CoD: Black Ops Cold War -Sackboy’s Bug Adventure -Godfall

All on PS5. After those, I’ll probably check out Pumpkin Jack on PC, maybe start in on Half-Life Alyx, and tackle Phogs with my wife on Xbox.

25 hours or so in to RDR 2 and 100% focusing on the story and I dont know how rockstar does it. Each story mission feels well thought out and ‘COOL’ and every mission is connected to the story and the characters.

The dialogue for the characters and story is well written and combined that with music, visuals I felt every mission is crafted with utmost care.

Normally in games like AC the story feels like an after thought and most story missions feel like filler.

Been playing cyberpunk very slowly hoping for some patches before I go all in. Bought Fuser and guys let me just tell you if your sleeping on this game please don’t its amazing and has totally scratched my Rockband itch I’ve been having. This game is just WOW honestly I’m addicted

It’s a great game! Ironically, it shines the most in free mode. When you have to hit the notes perfectly and artificially increase variety, it feels more confined and limited, also a bit oppressing at times.

Just finished Bioshock Infinite and playing Burial at Sea.

While still having Forza 7 and Dirt 5 on the go

Edit: Oh and I installed Elex again because it’s frame rate unlocked on both modes and plays far better than the very variable performance even in One X mode.

I finished Control over the holidays and started AC: Valhalla.

I’m only an hour or so in but am really digging it.

Also playing Halo: MCC, Gears 5, Dirt 5 and Rocket League.
