Mostly Demons Souls. But on XSX Borderlands 3. Played a little AC Origins and it seemed to pop even more than it did on the 1x. Haven’t really been able to get into Valhalla.

Started Gears Tactics! Great looking game, and fun so far.

Hoping to finish up Assassin’s Creed Odyssey over the long weekend, planning on going back to Ori 2 or starting Gears Tactics once Odyssey is done.

Gears 4 BC has some problems with split screen. It doesn’t fill the entire screen, and the text is tiny. However, finished it off last night when my son visited, and next it’s on to Gears 5. About halfway done with Ori 2 - the first half was great, but it’s lagging a little bit now. I play it with breaks just to get over that issue. Also about to start QB for the first time. Figured I should play that before Control …

Putting Watch Dogs Legion on halt for the final few missions due to that save bug. It’s unnerving me - I had a pretty tough boss fight not save yesterday.

So I went to a game from my backlog, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. Absolutely gorgeous on Xbox Series X. Pretty challenging, too. And it‘s so colorful, with plenty of puzzles and abilities! Great in these dark November days.

Man, that sucks.

Just beat Disintegration now going on to Marvel Avengers or Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris

Ok so right now i’m playing days gone, but goddammit i don’t have enough time. I only play around 3-4 hr per week

Installed Doom Eternal on Gamepass and played for about 3 hours.

I really liked the way the combat is set up and how you have to balance between ammo, health, weapon swapping and enemy weakpoints. Looks good and runs smooth.

Unfortunately I have grown to like games with some kind of care given to world, story or characters and Doom doesn’t do any of that to my liking (I know its not meant to be the core focus).

On to Dragon Quest

Playing Dragon Quest, its definitely charming.

Couple of hours in and I will keep playing some more but unless the story drastically improves I dont see myself finishing the game.

Gears Tactics and a mix of a bunch of others, but it’ll be 100% cyberpunk in 2 days

I adored DOOM 2016 but couldn’t get into Eternal. Maybe I’m not in the mood for it?

So I switched gears and now I’m playing though Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and I’m thinking of 100%ing it. I’ve become obsessed. SOTN is one of my favorite games of all time so this isn’t a surprise, I suppose!

Finally wrapped up what I wanted on Watchdogs Legion,

Gonna try Control tonight, seeing as that has finally landed on gamepass

Still playing Gears Tactics… Also playing NHL 94 Rewind on the side whilst listening to podcasts

60 plus hours into AC Valhalla and I’m looking forward to a change of pace in Cyberpunk 2077.

You should at least finish the first act, possibly the second

Put a lot of time into Valhalla since launch. Almost 70 hours. I’m honestly pretty underwhelmed with it. I like Eivor. The combat system is nice, punchy & quite visceral. The music is great. Yet overall the game is just not what I’d hoped for. It started off well enough, but is just kind of meandering along at this point, with no sign of ending soon, or picking up the pace. It’s very repetitive, I think, with no real point or payoff. Think I’ll be setting it aside for a while, once Cyberpunk lands.

Also made a start on Gears Tactics. I’ve found it to be a lot of fun. It seems like a more straightforward, faster paced version of Xcom with a cool new storyline which fits right into the established world. I’m only a few missions along, but so far I say well done to The Coalition (once again) & Splash Damage!

Dropped the Tourist - controls like garbage. Overhyped, to be certain. Back to struggling with Ori, though I have made some progress - now I’m down in the depths of spider hell. I will probably pick up Control again this weekend (haven’t had time to play much), and I’m probably going to play DQ yet again in the next few months
