What are you currently playing?

If you liked the Demo a lot you should have fun with it. The story is very anime and very Japanese, but I think it has good pacing for a video game (keeps me going back to try and finish it). I just wish you could farm agent skills, there was a much better form Of fast travel (the locations you visit this game are a big step up from cybersleuth), digiride was far faster, and you could digivolve (or at least see digivolution requirements) in the digilab (it gets really tedious entering and leaving just to check).

Great, I like anime and jrpgs so I should be fine. Good to hear the locations are an improvement on Cyber Sleuth. That game was already pretty good, I had a lot of fun with it. Thank you

Currently playing Keeper and so far I’m enjoying my time with the game, it’s a story-ish driven game that tells its story through the world as the characters can’t really speak. With some really great visuals, so far I think there is one thing that they should have done to make the game play a more interesting(well 2, but I’m mostly relieved they didn’t for that second one), but the game has my attention.

Also playing Baldur’s Gate 3, the game plays like Divinity Original Sin 2, with certain tweaks here and there. I had originally decided to start the game on Story mode to learn the mechanics, as they’re different enough that I feel I need to relearn everything I did from Divinity OS2. But for whatever reason, subclassing is locked away from the story mode difficulty so now I’m going to have to restart and see how that goes, hopefully it’s available in normal difficulty, if not I’m going to use the found that allows me access to all classes and sub classes.

Edit: I may need to try to be patient with Baldur’s Gate 3, because so far none of the origin characters has made me want to get to know them, heck I killed 2 of them because of how things with them went(Astarion tried to kill, and Lae’zel decided to attack me because after she abandoned me I abandoned her - I likely could have walked away but).

Still working through Digimon Time Stranger. The tone is a lot more bleak than Cyber Sleuth; I wonder if it’ll make me want to cry as much as Hacker’s Memory (I can’t stand another Hacker’s Memory ending tho :sob:). That said I still wish the whole game was in the post apocalypse with a three way war between two Digimon factions and humans. Apparently other me (operator) got swallowed up by a time hole :hole:. I wanna see that so bad. Like my god could ya’ll imagine an open world fallout DIGIMON game?? With digital stuff and time travel crashing things even more. Actually why aren’t there more post apocalyptic games with some type of deity or fantasy element? Like the world after some gods crashed out and we have to make our way through it

Just saw but there’s a survey up for the game until October 30th (for whenever you get around to playing it to give your thoughts). I wrote a really long one about what I liked and didn’t like (and asking for Xbox play anywhere). There’s also a question about what your future dream Digimon game would be. I said I’d love a Digimon frontiers like game where you turn into a Digimon and fight in real time action combat with dmc depth (they said dream!).

I’m having a hard time staying focused and committing to one game. But started Keeper this morning. I’m not far a long but I do love a game every once in a while that just goes bonkers with creativity.

Playing Battlefield 6, it’s the best BF in quite some time. Feels great to play! Haven’t touched the campaign yet but I’ll do that soon.

As for singleplayer games I’m playing Scar-Lead Salvation, which is not very good… Should finish that soon and then it’s on to Keeper I think.

Kind of want to get BF6 but with so much on Gamepass right now I feel like I won’t be able to dedicate enough time to it.

Keeper is pretty great, I spent 2 hours streaming it last night and while it’s a very simple, exploration and puzzle based game, it looks phenomenal! Game looks like a painting, paint brushes cover the landscapes, I’ve seen nothing like this before. Sometimes I’d actually just stop and quite literrally couldn’t tell I was looking at a 3D videogame. I have a feeling this will be overlooked like most Double Fine games, but this is exactly the type of games we gamers should be asking more of. The soundtrack, or at least what I’ve heard so far, is really great as well! The characters are also super charming, it oozes with style!

I think I will be dropping Baldur’s Gate 3, because its optimization leaves a lot to be desired and it’s giving me a headache to play it. It wasn’t super noticeable at first, but after playing for a bit I can’t say that VRR is doing anything to help with how bad this game is running.

I always played on super duper low settings (it was actually the first game I played on my steam deck)

It’s just something about the Framerate/Frametimes that VRR can’t catch to make it smooth enough to not give me a headache.

Oh that’s a shame. Looved that game!

I’m sensitive to those things too, get motion sickness in bad FPS etc. but never had any issues with BG3. I put 180h into it too.

For me it’s pretty rare because the optimization has been pretty good for the most part, with BG3 being the 3rd game to do it this gen. Last Gen it was Dark Souls 3(This game was what literally started the issue imo) and some other games I can’t remember.

That sucks, I hope you find some workarounds.

The work around is PC(I’m not doing that) and VRR if the game’s frames aren’t really bad: Elden Ring is the best example, before I had a VRR capable tv - headache city! After it felt smooth play with only time that the game felt off was when fighting Radagon, because he has an attack that causes the FPS to tank.

Actually, you know what I haven’t tried the 30fps mode yet, I was checking the settings to see because I thought I saw something about it. Wish me luck!

Thanks man for the survey. I was undecided whether to buy it (for full price) but I made the purchase today. I’m gonna restart from the beginning of the game. Gonna pick DemiDevimon again though hehe. That sounds like a really cool/good idea for a Digimon game. I’ll post some thoughts on here later as I progress through the game.

Arc Raiders.

Played 10 hours between last night and today. Game is really good but man, im not good at the game. lol

I’m fine when scavenging and resource gathering but man, fighting the machines or other players has been a battle. The worse part is that nearly every death I had was due to either the player or machine giving me a battle and then the other finishing me off as I didn’t have enough time to heal and regroup. Will be playing more tomorrow as I decide if I want to buy it or not. Knowing me, I probably will but hasn’t been 100% determined yet.

Playing Keeper currently then I need to play Silent Hill F

Bought Keeper yesterday (I’ll gladly support Double Fine on everything they release) and I am planning to start it today. I also have Silent Hill f waiting but I am still hooked on Cronos: TND (currently on my 3rd Pistol-only playthrough). I am not complaining though, we are swimming in great games and Ninja Gaiden 4 is also coming out next week!
