Just finished Metaphor and was a great game probably ended up finding more than i needed to but over all my game of the year with infinite wealth right there with it. Sega did great this year.
Now on to Indiana Jones.

I’m finishing off Dragon Age Veilguard, which turned out to be the perfect 7/10 game for me. Fun but forgettable.
Then I’m going to start Space Marine 2. In the meantime I also bought Alan Wake 2, Tekken 8 and Avatar Frontiers of Pandora with X-mas giftcards, so I’m drowning in games now with Indy and Flight Sim 2024 also on my list.
Completed Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 campaign.
Finished the campaign an hour or so ago. Really enjoyed it for the most part. It’s not my favorite campaign (Infinite Warfare) out of the eight COD campaigns that I have ever played but it still a great campaign. The action sequences are really good, the story/characters are great and I didn’t see the twist halfway into the game coming.
Gameplay/combat is more COD. You have your shooting, your gadgets and your stealth sections. I enjoyed all of it except for the forced stealth mission early on. Just not into it as I don’t play COD (or Battlefield for that matter) for forced stealth missions. If I wanted that, I would play Hitman which is arguably the best in this regard.
Anyway, played it on recruit difficulty because im not good at COD and took me around 20 hours to completed the campaign. Did everything in the one open mission that reminded me of a Ubisoft game. lol
Visuals/audio were both excellent/great as usual. No real surprise there. A few of the gameplay twists that play into one of their other modes was a cool change of pace. Overall, a great campaign and I enjoyed it more than last year’s Modern Warfare III (8.0/10 overall for me) but still ranks behind Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare for me. It does rank higher than Black Ops Cold War which I enjoyed a lot.
Indiana Jones is taking all of my gaming time right now and I’m having a blast! Spent my time between PC and Xbox so far and it’s smooth on both platforms to be honest. Just those save files, gotta make sure you see that little hat in the corner to tell you it has saved!
I’m close to 30 hours in and about to 100% Sukhothai and I’ve 100% the game so far except for 2 quests that are bugged (seems to be a lot of those online). My brother is stuck also in the game in a quest where he needs to take a picture to keep going and the picture icon doesn’t show up so he’s stuck. Really hoping MG can patch this stuff up quickly are those quest progression bugs seem to be very common online.
But besides that it’s a great game, probably a good 8.5 to a 9 for me. Gizeh is probably my favourite zone so far, it looks sooooo good! I just can’t stand the boat in Sukhothai , it’s driving me crazy!
Dead Island 2: Haus and Sola expansions.
Completed Haus yesterday and should have Sola done on Friday. Haus was pretty good and definitely a little different than the base game while Sola is also pretty good. Have enjoyed both thus far.
Completed the first game in the Spyro trilogy. Lovely little trip back to 90’s platforming. I’ll play the whole trilogy, but i’m going to wait a few weeks before starting the second game.
Diablo IV. I put it down a few months ago but got the itch to play it yesterday and had a hard time putting it down. I need to complete the campaign, but I get side tracked so easily with side quests.
Going to continue Spiritfarer before bed.
Minishoot Adventures. Really great little metroidvania that’s quite relaxing and it’s a top down shooter, kinda.
Completed -
I’m someone that really enjoyed Dead Island 2 and yes, I love the gore system in the game. Haus is a few hours long but good. It’s definitely a more horror type vibe to an extent. It was solid. Sola was great even though I hated the final boss fight. Love the new area, the look of it and the story behind it all.
Will finally be starting Visions of Mana tomorrow. Only took me four months to get to. lol
Just wrapping up Animal Well. What a cool ass game. Its like the Tunic of Metroidvanias. Some really obtuse but clever shit that you really have to being paying attention to figure out.
On a trip visiting family and there’s been a lot of downtime, during which I’ve been playing Starfield on my Ally. It’s really quite something how well it runs on that little machine.
Just came across a derelict I’ve never seen before, and considering I’m nearing 1,000 hours, that’s always a welcome surprise. It is impressive how relatively frequently I do find things I’ve never seen before despite all this time I’ve spent in the game.
Hello and welcome to forums!
So you’re saying I will need a guide because, while I could do most of the basic stuff in Tunic, once I was out hunting for every secret to get every page. I needed a guide so badly!
I hear you, I’m back on the game and at the rate I’m playing, it will be my most played game this year again.
I mostly have been trying out the new mods I’m interested in, The Veil, McClarence and The Lazarus quest are pretty good. Although except McClarence because of the great utility, I will be removing them from deactivating them before going to a new universe, because they don’t really work as more than a one off with the current lore of the game(McClarence’s only issue for me was the final quest).
Will be trying Th Escape quest and the 2nd quest for Trackers Allience soon.
I recommend doing as much of it as you can before moving to a guide, but overall, eventually yes. I needed help with about 10/64 secret eggs.
When I get around to it, I try my best like in Tunic where I beat the final boss before going back for the other stuff(man did that game have so many hidden in plain sight puzzles and solutions).
Currently playing Dragon Age Origins and I managed to get past the Ostangur section! Hooray, I honestly wouldn’t have had enough interest to do so if I hadn’t played Veilguard and knowing things from Veilguard makes me wonder at stuff I’m encountering.
I’m playing Nine Sols and man is it punishing. This game is all about parrying.
Finally started Visions of Mana earlier today. Put in 8 hours of game time. Playing on normal difficulty. Have unlocked 2 elemental vessels thus far.
Visually, the game looks great. I love the art style as well as the lush and vibrant environments. Music, sound and voice acting are really good. Enjoying the story which is darker than you would think by looking at the game and the characters have thus far been solid. The combat/gameplay is excellent for the most part. I’m not really a fan of the class system as of yet because the first one you acquire wasn’t for me at all as it’s attacks are just too damn slow. The second class I just unlocked is pretty good so I will stick with it for a while and see if I continue to like and enjoy it. Will continue playing tomorrow.
Just finished Binary Domain on Series X with BC.
A pretty fun 3rd person shooter made by RGG in 2012, definitely their best shooting mechanics, but I haven’t played anything other than Yakuza from them.
Love Binary Domain. Wish RGG would do a sequel.
if you want to have a laugh try out Doom - The Gallery Experience.
even runs in your browser
I had an itch to pick up my FFXV play that I abandoned years ago. I saw some discounted add ons in the Xbox sale and it made me want to see if it clicks this time. I put a few hours in and I am enjoying it a lot more than I recall.
About to jump into the Destiny 2 update, so that might eat up my time over the next few days. I’m very curious about the new exotic mission.
