State of Decay 2, impressive how far this game has come.
Currently playing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Such a good-looking game for the PS5 and I played it before, but playing it again for the second time and getting all the bolt crates and the gold bolts and the armours and the spybots is so fun to play.
Tried Planet of Lana, but I was playing another side scrolled before it and it made Planet of Lana seem too tamed in comparison(it’s an action game). So I don’t know if Planet if Lana will be a game I return to.
The other side scrolled I’m playing is Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising, it’s an action side scroller with RPG elements(leveling, upgrading gear, potions - health, crit chance, defense offense). Whose whole goal is completing quest to increase the population of the town and get stamps(pretty much addicted to getting those stamps as CJ is at this point), with in my opinion a good group of characters with their own side stories to tell(mostly through how they’re building their business in the town).
Also still doing daily dungeons in ESO as I wait for the new zone, although, I currently have 1000 Transmute crystals in my currentcy inventory(really hope they up this again), so I just collecting the stones for later use. I will probably have to make 40 pieces of gear in the future to save on space.
Playing Divinity original sin 2 still, doing a solo playthrough on normal difficulty, no gift bag mods for the achievements. Taking advantage of other people’s knowledge I used it to defeat Dallis and Braccus on the ship, where the goal is to hold of their back up long enough to escape, or kill them all for an achievement. Dallis and Braccus though are a higher level than everyone else and the video I watched on defeating them and causing everyone to retreat, was just too good not to replicate.
What makes it so good imo, is the fact that as a show of their might Dallis has Braccus us a level 20 spell to kill most of my back up. But there’s a skill called mass corpse explotion, that after buffing ore fight. We use after teleporting both Dallis and Braccus into the fire were he killed our back up, making it a literal 1 turn fight. Afterwards I spent time using the games mechanics to kill enemies that are higher level than I was on reapers coast(mostly throwing them into the lava I have been transporting across the land), unfortunately lava doesn’t work on a particular enemy so that’s going to be a fight and a half(but maybe the poison spewing bulb would? Need to test it out).
Continuing my Professional S+ playthrough (no special weapons/accessories) on REmake 4 and currently I have saved before the double El Gigante fight. It’s challenging but doable, I still have some complaints about some of the changes/overall balance on Professional and the inconsistency of ammo/resource drops can become a problem in some cases but overall I am having fun.
Also started Planet of Lana yesterday and really liking it so far (OST is truly great)! I love the genre so I was interested in it from the first moment that we saw it. Can’t wait to play more tonight!
Just finished tears of the kingdom. What a game.
Started playing Pentiment while waiting for Diablo 4 and enjoying it so far.
You have to enjoy these type of games but the writing has been top notch so far and it helps the setting was an interesting period for Europe, so i am enjoying that aspect as well.
Just finished Planet of Lana, fun little platformer/puzzle game to be honest and not too long to complete. It has nice environments and it’s a pretty chill/laidback game. I finished it in 3 nights but I don’t get to play much so I assume some could do it it one sitting.
Now to start Coffee Talk 2!
I just started Ghostwire and something about it feels wrong. Maybe one of you has a suggestion
Camera feels very sluggish and rough. I have VRR and I’m running the game at 60fps mode. Every time I move the camera it feels blurry and gives me a headache. Is that just how the game is, or maybe there is a setting I tweak to help? Playing on Series X
I’ll give that a try, that might help the camera feel. Now just gotta figure out why it’s so blurry.
It won’t be perfect, as it supposed to be slow, but you get used to it. Enjoy !
I’ll try it again. There are random games that are unplayable for me due to weird camera stuff. The first Tomb Raider remake was unplayable cause the way the camera bobbed made me nauseous. This game the moment the camera moves it gets blurry and my eyes go haywire lol. Hopefully the fix you gave me helps and if not I guess I have to unfortunately skip it.
OK, yeah, that game IQ is kind of weird for sure. Overall, the game is beautiful mostly because of the Tokyo setting, but it tends to get real blurry when there’s a lot of movement and lighting effects, and combat can get quite hectic for sure.
If you like it, I think it deserves to be seen through it, even though story is just OK. Don’t push yourself though. If after 2 hours you don’t like it, you should move on, because it don’t get better.
Fair enough! It’s so weird cause if I move around the IQ stays fine. If I move the right stick at all it goes nuts. It’s so weird to be that it’s the same devs as Hifi Rush cause it’s such a more polished game lol. I’ll give it another try tonight and hopefully it’s better.
Edit: Just wanted to add this because this is the version of what I did on the large scale.
Loved Rift Apart. Still hoping for a Rivet spin off game similar to Miles Morales.
I’m playing this obscure RPG made by an indie Dev. It is called Skyrim. Look it up guys, it is amazing
I might just say screw it and replay all of Kingdom Hearts again lol
Playing Birth by Sleep 3 times for the true ending will be fun.
You just gotta play each characters story. I consider that once
