I might be off base here, but does the game look really flat to some, especially during the day. I’ve been experiencing issues with pop-in of reflections, muddy textures and resolution drops within raytraced reflections. It looks mid-early gen 8 in many cases. It’s weird because the game can look quite beautiful at times. Like, if it didn’t say Optimized for Series X I’d think I was playing the One version. Idk.

I mean it looks better at times than others. Can I suggest just as a random test you try doing a hard reboot of your system then firing the game up…only because every so often COD will start rendering for me at what looks like 720p 30FPS randomly. A reboot fixes it - I was about to worry about my console but then saw others with the same issues. Then I heard of a situation where the same thing happened to someone in Assasins Creed. Now might just be random bugs or could be a memory leak somewhere causing games to degrade their performance?

Worth a try to see if something is going awry. I’ve not noticed any of what you describe to be honest. The game does look amazing sometimes and less impressive at others but not seeing the res drops in reflections (allowing for fact game renders these lower by design).

• Fixed an issue that could cause longer load times when exiting to the main menu.
• Fixed an issue that could cause save games to get corrupted.
• Fixed an issue that could cause lost progress during Borough Uprising missions when loading back into the game.

It is unbelievable that a game can be shipped with issues like those.

Also, the Multiplayer Update was delayed to 2021.

I’m still seeing save file problems with whatever the latest version that updated yesterday on my machine. Lost four hours of play. And this is at least the second time this has happened.

Think I’m going to let this one sit on the shelf a while until they work out the kinks.
