What is this obsession with having ridiculous player counts. Tetris has sold 100 million copies and everyone plays alone.
Solitaire on windows probably has the highest ccu of any game
Video Game Market Analysis Thread
My point is that a lot of people donāt care about these massively-online games. Hence the super popularity of single-player experiences. Heck I play Monument Valley & Desert Golf on iOS.
The conversation was about Starfield, a single player experience? Total player count was only brought up because itās an important metric for something like game pass.

Is increasing wages really a big thing? Does not these companies supposed to have yearly appraisals?
Yeah⦠I was like⦠ok?
Iād imagine this is separate. So people still have an eval, but they bump all the salary ranges up by whatever percent. Also probably more of an impact for people who might be on hourly instead of salary.
Technically my employer did something like this last year where they gave everyone a bump outside our normal review period.
Edit: yeah this reads as exactly what my company did last year, everyone gets a one time 10% bump that isnāt part of eval cycle. Ours wasnāt that high so Iām a bit jealous.
Itāg gone to pass the PS2 lifetimes sales when it all said and done. Crazy since no one expected that from Nintendo after Wii U failure.
itās so ubiquitous but itās still FJD 1,499 (~USD749) in my country. I wanted one but theyāre never on sale and the online store doesnāt work in Fiji so I gotta buy games for FJD 120 which is like 10 whole meals for me.
Switch definitely getting long in the tooth and demand is slowing.
Not even fully out yet btw.
10 million in a week incoming.
Imagine if this game had a functional working switch version at release
Eh. Why exclude Elden ring? Even if you get rid of MP. Its gonna pull up those numbers for launch for SP only refardless
Itās the price increase. Series S shot way up on Amazon after the announcement.
Notice that Series X is still nothing.
Series S has always been in stock in Japan since ~September.
