They still expect to sell 18M during this fiscal year ?
Profits dropped significantly for Playstation. No wonder they try to increase their razor thin margins by aggressively monetizing their existing customers with PS Premium and expanding to more customers on PC.

Sony declines to comment when asked if it would consider raising the price of PS5.

WOOFā¦.
Other Era is shook lolā¦moving every goalpost possible.
Thanks for burying Horizon and GT7. I guess that would explain TLOU Remake. Easy sale. That is if people are willing to spend.
I canāt believe anyone would spend $70 on a TLOU remake that is basically a new coat of paintā¦and I LOVE TLOU series.
So curious to see how that game sellsā¦
Should have blamed consumers for not buying enough
thanks for buying the bundles i guess
PS Plus stagnating is a bit surprising to me, I thought their new sub was the best ever to the point journalists unsubscribed from Game Pass ?
When it was launched? I would not be suprised that some people moved to higher tier but it did not affect the amount of the subscribers as it did not bring new ones.
That is true, but I still expected something more. And if Sony is considering raising the price of PS5⦠yikes.
I bet folks who made fun of Xbox sales past Tuesday is silence here.
Just had a quick look at the playstation revenue figures and converted to dollars, year on year for the quarter revenue is down nearly 20%. Thatās going to shock a few people
Oh, no doubt. GP was gworing, PS was falling but only Xbox is doomed after all due to not releasing games
I wonder if weak yen has influence here.
xBoX HAs No gAmes !
This number didnāt changed since PS+ en PS Now merged together. I always thought the given PS+ numbers would be the now PS+ essential subscribers.
Is this assumption correct. And if so? What do you think the current PS+ extra/premium numbers are? The last official number was 3.2M in May 2021, a year ago. PS+ extra is a great deal I am sure millions of gamers upgraded.
I am pretty sure that people who owned PS Now, owned PS+ too. I highly doubt that anybody outside Playstation ecosystem owned PS Now.
The new PS Plus would barely be represented in these numbers. It launched in like June right?
May in Japan and June VS and end of June in Europe etc.
I guess that would explain some of those heads-up announcement for future feature. Take PS+ expansion for example. Maybe they saw the decline, so they persuaded people to stay or save money for cooler feature such as Extra and Premium. Same can be said for Stars, which is for engagement sake. Starting to add up here.
