They were bidding on AW2 publishing rights after giving the IP back to Remedy. EPIC outbid them.

So what Andy reported on is not Kojipro, but since there are apparently multiple SH games in development it could still be Kojipro? Only saying this because of Gematsu though.
Not only outbid them but also gave Remedy a better deal in terms of revenue sharing and what not.

wow fr ? first time hearing this with epic it’s safe to assume it will come to xbox so that is great.
also they got outbid Publishing deal only ? now imagine negation on timed/full exclusivity.
this tell me MS not interested paying more money for IP they don’t own, i mean if stalker 2 timed is indeed 3 months then the budget for these type of deals is low compared to the competitions.

Yeah I know. But the scoop on what Konami has been doing with its IP’s was made by Andy Robinson of VGC way back in Feb and again the other day. I think Gematsu’s source has it wrong.
Yeah Grubb said that. And we know for certain it is multiplat at this point as per EPIC (they said they have two games with Remedy that are both multiplat, one being a new game and another being smaller game in same universe, i.e. AW2 and AW:R respectively).

The rumor is there are two SH games, with only one being made by a prominent Japanese team. We dunno for sure what the other one is, but odds are high it is Bloober making a SH game imho (even with Layers of Fear 3 being in early pre-prod it seems).
Just give castlevania to FROM and make it xbox exclusive.
My friend found and told me about this. It’s the accuracy for Gematsu and VGC/Andy Robinson.
Also, I looked into Millie and since June/July, she’s 5/5. Very little but perfect accuracy thus far. I followed VGC and Gematsu. Added Andy and Millie today and will see who comes out with the best accuracy out of them all. lol

To be fair, Andy from VGC isn’t discounting the rumors either or Gematsu’s reporting.
In fact he sticks up for it.
Huh, how does that work? Didn’t he agree when Millie said “no” to the question if Kojima was making SH for Sony?
Man all these rumors, nothing concrete is getting tiresome.
Nice! I’d like to see more delineation between things that plausibly could have changed (like Andy saying he heard The Initiative would announce their new game last E3, but most likely it got pushed back to TGA’s). Still, that is helpful!

He said he knows Sal is a good journo with good sources, but also directly contradicted what Gematsu’s source claimed.
Sounds to me like he’s way more in Millie’s camp on that then. Interesting.

Nick on the podcast said his source says Kojima isn’t on Silent Hill and that the Kojima/Xbox game is apparantly an exisiting IP, which would be very strange imo
Even MGS2 doesnt have as many twists as this lol
