I didn’t really follow as much the whole thing about Silent Hill, but basically we got this :

1. Gematsu stating they heard about Kojima making Silent Hill, with fundings from Sony.
2. Andy from VGC saying he didn’t personally hear about Kojima working on Silent Hill.
3. Millie saying Kojima is not working on Silent Hill, which seems to be also said by Nick, who also said he is working on an existing Xbox IP instead.

Is that right ?

This understates the disagreement b/t Andy’s reporting and Gematsu’s single source. Andy says it is no KojiPro explicitly. Worth noting that he was the one with the scoop on this info back in February too.

Link & Timestamp please? Then Kojima is making a new MGS exclusive to Xbox just imagine the mental breakdown some will face if it’s the case.

We don’t need new MGS games. Utterly pointless.

MGS3 is legit an all time GOAT calbur game. A Proper Remake…wow. I played this game a few years back when it was on Gamepass. Its still a masterclass in story telling and character development.

Someone needs to port Suikoden II and put it on Gamepass. NOW. I don’t know if anyone here has played Sukoden II. Its a Tier 1 JRPG.

I want to have faith in Kojima. I really do but after the absolute borefest that was DS I don’t think I can hype his games anymore unless its literally a big budget Zone of the Enders.

Hard disagree about MGS. A brand new MGS by Kojima would still get me excited. Could be anything in the timeline. There are still lots of things to explore in the universe.

As for MGS 3 yep it is the best MGS and a proper next gen only remake would be crazy.

We dunno for sure, but he had talked quite a bit about how cloud gaming can had huge potential for horror games and said he was making a horror game and we know MS hired Kim Swift, his contact point at Stadia who was dev liaison for cloud projects there. We also know that the project he pitched to Stadia was a cloud based horror game and he purportedly took that to MS after Stadia turned him down. That is supposedly what he is working on.

yeaah, but hey, at least we getting Eiyouden in 2023 day 1 on gamepass which is a spiritual successor from some of the same devs as Suikoden.
