We wont know for sure due to the mix of f2p and the game pass portion but Id find Forza’s numbers more impressive.

Crazy how FH5 has become this big, it’s a bloody system seller for sure and it’s “just a racing game” that still amuses me how people downplay it like that yet look how many people play it, it’s not even F2P.

it’s more a driving game than racing to most too, which people don’t really talk about. I can drive around for hours just listening to podcasts and such and not even race lol, super relaxing.

If you half the amount of players and say they were paying customers at $60 that’s $540m, if you half that again so 4.5m sales that’s still $270m and that’s just pure game sales. I know there’s people who bought the $100 edition and such but I just wanted to do the bare minimum, plus we don’t know GP users vs paying users and there’s even users on GP who bought the game still or the premium upgrade like myself.

In a nutshell FH5 made a shit ton of money

IIRC there were 2 million players in early access release, so that’s the baseline for how many bought the full 100 dollar edition.

This is what I take out of it as well. Setting aside the fact whether it has or will drive up Game Pass subscriptions, just on its own it has made a shit ton of money.
