Problem is it doesn’t show up owned when it is a different edition of a game. Just a minor annoyance during sales.

OK to each his own but for me it nothing at all does not impact me one bit.
Sorry to revive this old post, but asking here in case someone had a suggestion.
One friend tried to install Forza Horizon 5 on Xbox PC app, but it is stuck on 49% or so. Clicking resume and/or cancel does nothing, so he cannot finish the download. It sometimes happened to me, and clicking cancel on the Windows Store usually worked… except all downloads are now handled by the xbox app in Windows 11. There is no option to cancel a download on the windows store.
Does anybody know if there is any way of canceling a download via powershell or something similar?
The xbox store is so bad on pc to the point where I sometimes question why even bother with the PC version of game pass.
