Praying for everyone and hopefully this doesn’t turn into a full on war, where China joins Russia, because if that happens, sadly millions of people will die.

This is all new for us, so we can only just watch on and pray for the best. I’m 39 and I’ve only known comfort, safe living, not too many worries, cannot imagine how it must be for people there. At the same time I can’t help but wonder and worry where this will end, how much of Europe could they go after. I’m in The Netherlands, so normally I’d say we’re pretty safe but…I just don’t know.

It’s a really a sad day and i’m with all people who are suffering now. But i would like to expose my thoughts also if they are strong This conflict should teach something to USA: it’s time to stop with your ingerence on every international questions. I’m not defending Putin but i could understand what he’s doing. It’s not cool to see the NATO troops and military bases and installations so near to your borders: Poland and Ucraina. Their joining to NATO would have meant a really risk for Russia Itself. But America politicians, democratic firstly, wanted to expand their influce also to that countries of European despite what the high officers and members of NATO said to Gorbaciov: Nato doesn’t want expand their influence over the Germany borders. But we can say how history has changed.
Trump, despite his blunders had a good relationship with Putin in the same way Bush Jr. done. There were not problems with them.
And Trump had obtained the Putin support also on the war against terrorism and China’s expansion.
What are the consequences now?
Russia is more close to China ever, Nato and Europe will not send troops to fight Russia directly because Russia Army is simply too strong also for America.
I think the only way it’s the diplomacy again with a resolution of the Ucraina question.

Since when? Putin is playing a risky game, the only real deterrent he has is the old usual nuclear button, Russia and China wouldn’t stand a chance against the western alliance in a regular conflict, otherwise China would have already moved against the west years ago and Russia is simply grabbing what they can until sanctions arrive.

I can’t help but wonder where Putin will draw the line, where will he stop? Biden has threatened with sanctions but Putin strikes me as someone that does what he wants and believes they’ll overcome these sanctions. And if that is the case, why would he stop at Ukraine? I’m reading things online about how he fully wants to restore the Soviet Union.
We will see what’s gonna happen within a week. Belarus will have interesting changes in the constitution next week too - they should remove neutrality and nuclear-free status.
I just read that up to the age of 45 we in The Netherlands have a obligation to serve if they so choose to. Basically if NATO is gonna do something they CAN call us to help them.
I am seriously not looking forward to such a scenario at all. I also have no idea how likely that even really is right now.
I don’t think there gonna be an escalation to a point where you need to mobilize all NATO reserve forces etc.

Absolutely horrible. I hope they can get away and find a safe home in another country, but it’s not that easy or even doable for some people.

I think nobody can ask for a STALKER 2 release with conscience, while their country has been invaded by an arrogant leadership who wants to threaten world balance after decades of peace.

Indeed, I couldn’t care less about Stalker 2 right now. I also find it a bit of a weird topic title. People are dying, right now, a game is not important right now.
