Doing so leads to worldwide peace and prosperity, and some very healthy, rich and fattened livestock on which the Skedar can harvest and prey upon. This is similar to an episode of The Twilight Zone wherein the aliens known as Kannamits solve all of the world’s problems to keep the human livestock happy and feast upon them, and Humanhead’s prey where a group of aliens return to Earth having created human life to harvest them for organic parts. I think having the Skedar infiltrate a massive corporation and use it to further their own gains works as an enviro-thriller and is a plausible conspiracy for the game. Idk, or maybe just Data Dyne are like they are in PDZ, shady assholes. Thoughts?

I think it will be a 2023/2024 title honestly, I feel as if this trailer was a recruiting video haha like wanna work on this really cool looking game come join us. This gives them something like 5-6 years, could even be a 2025 title but I don’t think any later than that.

Game has been playable for a year already. Hard to imagine them needing 3 more years.

I’m sure it killed him that Sony barely had anything to show. Between the PlayStation shoes and the absolute TLOU shillfest, I’d really love for those that still think he’s not toxically biased towards Sony to kindly shut up at this point.

On topic: Perfect Dark is one of those series that will always have a special place in my heart. I remember being in middle school and I’d pack up my n64 and this 15” TV on the weekends so I could take it to the radio station where my dad worked. On his breaks after programming the sets and in between hosting bits, we’d play co-op or combat sim with bots. Needless to say, that series had an impact, so so to say I’m excited for the return of Joanna is beyond understatement.

Some people are quite hypocritical toward Geoff (and most of the gaming media). I think they believe someone in it can’t have a preference towards a console. But what is always lost among this is that the gaming press (outside of Schreir and a few others) aren’t actually press anymore. They’re not going around breaking stories and getting scoops. They pundits, critics, and influencers now. It’s totally ok for them to lean towards one console or the other.

It would be interesting if insiders who were talking about the game being set in the universe but not featuring Joanna, and it being “seasonal” were actually talking about the MP the whole time but thinking it was the whole game.
