There’s still massive bias towards Sony. Go to any large site like ign or gamespot. Gamespot especially have been very disrespectful and dismissive of xbox in general. I remember them writing up an article about they cannot envision playing shooting games without the dualsense for the future and how the Xbox is outdated. And even in recent months. Gamespot rarely headlines gamepass news compared to shitty rumors from Sony taking up massive titles. Like the MLB to Xbox barely featured for gamespot but when David Jaffe says Sony might do a gamepass equiviislnt that article is up for far more days and longer.
Theie staff as well seem to not care about Xbox in general and they were some of those people talking about ms need to make sure bethesda games are multiplay because it’s anti consumer. Yet when Sony gobbled up timed exclusives left and right they didn’t say one bad thing
Ign have their own Xbox podcast and those guys are cool and very positive about all systems but the Sony side of ign podcast just dislike Xbox in general.
Also when it comes to game awards. There’s a ton of media outlets that slap goty to a exclusive Sony game no matter what
Deathstranding and uncharted 4 is a good example of this. Especially euro journalists. They simply don’t care or want to care about Xbox ignoring it completely.
