Yea this community needs to chill the fuck out. Gaming IS CHANGING. If you cant deal with that find another hobby.
Hopefully these moves that MS are making will once again change and make the industry better.

Nothing is changing for Xbox owners. They just made a huge public commitment to future hardware and did it with some balls stating it will be the biggest tech leap ever.
Stop dooming and freaking out over rumors or your own crazy thoughts on what MIGHT happen 20 years from now and just enjoy the fact Xbox has the biggest and most diverse 1st party in gaming history and have been given leeway from MS to change the industry.
Yeah we will see. I just don’t think it’s really just a “test run”. Tim Stuart said it’s their mission to bring their first party experiences to every screen including PS and Nintendo and there is no indication why I shouldn’t believe him. If I’m wrong I will gladly eat crow. I actually would love a world with no exclusives it’s just unfortunate that Xbox will be by far the first to go that way.
Oh I have no doubt that more is coming, but I meant this year. I kinda assumed it would be one or two games for the first half and two other games for the second half this year.
But hold on, you’d rather see them doing day one releases for other platforms? I think that would be a big mistake and if anything will damage the Xbox hardware sales even more. Some people seem to think Game Pass will bring people over, but they seem to forget PS players were fine with paying top dollar for day one games on PS5.
Xbox has to keep reasons to get people to get interested in the Xbox ecosystem, those are the big first party releases. Hopefully it will be a long time before they start doing that.
Again, he never called it a flop. He simply said the game did not earn back its budget. The thing he said that was not confirmed and he shouldn’t have said it was that Xbox was really disappointed because he doesn’t know what exact metrics they were happy with that. Don’t worry about it. Some people can’t help themselves but be assholes and it’s not isolated to just a few users. Just because you can be a prick doesn’t mean you should be, but that concept is lost on some.

I hope the devs can get more sales and the recognition for their work! I hope Sea of Thieves is nominated for best on going game at the 2024 Game Awards! I’m curious where these games will land on NPD
