What’s new? PlayStation has been for some time bringing their games to PC. It’s not like they said they’re bringing some games to Xbox. I don’t think Xbox can capitalize on this, their event is about the future of Xbox.

They are talking more than PC, and you have to be gullible to believe otherwise.

Assuming this all is true we Xbox console fans can be rest assured, that we can look forward to new hardware in the future. It would be nice if they confirm it for us tomorrow too.

Sometime in the future probably, yes. But I absolutely believe they will wait and see how well (or not) Xbox games sell on their console and then decide if it’s worth. I’d love to be wrong and that Xbox truly changes the game tomorrow by announcing a “partnership” or trade or whatever that we get some Sony games but I don’t see that happening.

You’d think that would have been part of the rumors too then.

I cant see a possibly great positive outcome out of this on the short term, reassuring Xbox customers that investing um their hardware is still worth doing vs plans to give away exclusives.

This is so weird, would be like stating “every screen is Windows” because you can install MS office/run Office in the browser on almost any device.

Seriously though with all this coming out I am actually leaning more and more toward PC being the best option for me even in this case. Get Xbox, Sony and Switch games along with tons of games that still skip xbox and a bunch of emulated arcade games that I still enjoy playing. Best of all worlds.

Seriously though with all this coming out I am actually leaning more and more toward PC being the best option for me even in this case. Get Xbox, Sony and Switch games along with tons of games that still skip xbox and a bunch of emulated arcade games that I still enjoy playing. Best of all worlds.

PC is truly the best platform right now and looks to be that way in the future as well…and I am saying this as a 42 years old “console dinosaur” but it’s the truth. Also if you see the sales of games like Armored Core 6 it seems that a huge part of the “core” gaming community right now is on PC/Steam.

A legacy title like Bloodborne would be a nice start for Sony’s multiplat push I agree!

I’ll die laughing first and then I will buy the game and play it to death (again!) on Xbox.

If this is the type of messaging they give at the business update tomorrow, Xbox messaging continues to be about as bad as it can get. “Yes, some of your exclusives are going to other platforms, but despite them being Nintendo and Sony consoles, they’re totally Xboxes too. Keep investing in our Xbox consoles though.”

Before anyone says anything, I’ve read the Sony financial report and obviously it’s not great, but anybody who has been following the trends for a while knew they were going to be short of their sales estimates and their profits were going to continue to be on the lower side. I think them releasing their games day-and-date on PC will solve their profit margin issue, at least for a while.

PC is undoubtedly the way to go going forward, especially as an Xbox gamer.

I still think we are a long ways off for Sony to truly go that route. It’s probably first gonna be several Xbox titles first, tons of doom post articles by the media as well. It would be so refreshing if both just did this.
