I mean more of their expertise in their Table devices. It be great to Xbox Handheld tablet form them that is part of the next gen Xbox console.
It be nice to see the Micrsoft BC team handle more games. There must be more OG Xbox games that MS can bring over that have no issues over music rights . Its seem a waste of serious talent on Xbox part and something Xbox did so much better than PlayStation

So the announcement of when the event is should be in the next few hours right?
Xcloud is fine but streaming is better suited to the big screen. Even streaming services like Netflix, Disney and the rest have over 75% of their audience on TV with the rest of the 25% split between PC, Tablets and Mobile devices. So, to me the Mobile audience were never going to be the ones to blow up streaming. Game streaming won’t go anywhere until more TVs other than Samsung premium TVs adapt it and also Xbox will need to release that streaming box or stick something I think they won’t do until they have the capacity.
We don’t really know. It’s this week for sure, but don’t know if it’s today.
I know, but i’m saying that they will probably announce when the event will be today, i’d expect. Personally i expect it Wednesday or later

I don’t think when he said event he meant it was going to be a thing announced then a time and day to tune in, it’s just going to be a blog and press run.
I hope this is not later in the week because that would be a drag. I just want to get this over with

The surface devices don’t have a good reputation beyond the design. To me, having the Surface team take over is there sink or swim(the surface team), either they actually do a great job once they have access to better hardware, or it’s the same effort they ace put into their devices. Not the worst, but nowhere near good enough that it should be chosen over any other OEM hardware.
Even by Sony who can do 4k

4k for what? Last time i checked sony dont offer any of their games on cloud outside of their overpriced box and nor do they care about it
Nvidia charge a monthly fee to play your own games and their selection is meh.
Xcloud is what it is. If they had an xcloud tier with oremium streaming options id be all for that

Also 4k streaming for games is utterly pointless to me. I stream on screens that dont have 4k. A lot of people do. All 4k does it make it more likely for game to lag.
You know what , I take 4k streaming over this horrible 1080p streaming on my console everyday. Regarding the lag I get more by using Xcloud for now. And my Serie X is the only one which is wired to the rooter as I don’t play on PS5 as often. What I don’t understand is why microsoft is lagging behind something they see as the future (and I don’t at 1080p ) . We have less storage capacity (yeah great idea proprietary solution to get more money) and we can’t even play our next gen games at 4K on our primary console through cloud gaming from MS . Perhaps the problem is that we have different usage for the cloud, I’ll use it only when my hardrive are full.

Yeah, Xcloud is the worst of the cloud services I’ve used so far. Its a shame Stadia closed shop because it was very good, and GeForce Now is very good these days from what I’ve tried. I haven’t tried PS5 streaming, but I’ve heard its better than xcloud. Microsoft really needs to figure it out because its behind other services

Re: Cloud- It’s all about volume. XCloud is built to handle the highest volume, so it’s the lowest quality. Nvidia is built to handle the lowest Volume, so it’s the best quality.
How many of their high end 4080 servers do you think actually exist?
I just meant the general negativity about the hardware as the latest round of rumours are suggesting that if the surface team are developing Xbox it will underpeform and flop (kill the hardware side).
Most people don’t realise thay many of the surface team AKA the hardware/devices team also previously worked on the Xbox consoles and HoloLens too.
