I guess Microsoft is doing both, 1080P on Twitch and 4K on YouTube?
Twitch is limited to 1080p I believe. Youtube allows it and so Xbox is going for it. Will require more speed, but it will be worth it.
I’ll be watching through my tv app, as the Xbox youtube app tends to lag audio for me. TV is wired to the router, so I should be able to see it with minimal problems, maybe.
I kinda wonder if CDNs charge more for helping distribute 4k content to large viewership groups and that’s why it’s not available everywhere. I honestly don’t know this though, it’s just a theory. Seems like there’d be higher costs though for trying to host a several million simultaneous viewer show with 4k content instead of having it a video that got hit up with millions of asynchronous views over time. It seems like shows are almost always better looking after the fact whether due to bitrate or uploading a higher quality of video after the fact (people say the PS one is, I remember thinking Halo Infinite gameplay looked better the second time I watched it, etc.). I think Geoff said the game awards will be 4k, and that probably is more profitable for him so they can afford to spend more money streaming it if it IS something like that.
Dunno though, definitely not my area of expertise, just kind of wonder if it’s something along those lines.
Geoffs show was a slog as usual, i just dont vibe with his style of pacing and presentation.
Day of the Devs and Devolver Digital on the other hand were as good as you expect from them 
I’m really looking forward to Talos Principle 2. Could be the Goat puzzle game.

I know it was one anouncement for Xbox, but it’s Geoff’s lack of excitement for anything Xbox related irks me. You can audibly and visually see the downtick in his excitement.
I thought Geoff put on a good show, a solid B. I’m hyped for AW2, Sonic, LAD Gaiden, and FFVII Rebirth especially.

So tomorrow we’re getting Star Wars Outlaws gameplay at Ubi. The trailer gave me a singleplayer vibe, which would be great! Seeing this dev is known for The Division.
Capcom tomorrow too, Dragon’s Dogma 2 let’s go.

Right - agreed, but at the same time I’ll probably throw that in one of my spotify playlists so it will stay in my head for a while which is something I don’t do with trailers/gameplay. So it’s possible it could be effective in a way.
Few years later you randomly listening to this song and remembered that it’s the game which was DoA.
