I wonder what Xbox Games will be launch titles?
Money on Hi-Fi Rush.
Sea of Thieves is my bet!
Cod blops 6 and whatever CoD is out this year for launch titles.
The question is : how can I get my hands on this thing at launch ? Mission impossible.
I wonder if Xbox is taking notes on this and being somewhat careful with what game launches on Switch 2. Cause my gut tells me is likely Sea of Thieves and Hi Fi Rush, but something is stoping me from saying it is and i do not know why still. I think is best to wait, cause some info was not clear in some way and i prefer to have all facts in check beforehand.
That was pretty uneventful for me, but I’m not their target audience. No more details?
For me as well but I’ll probably still get one.

They have to number it. No way they will pull Wii U.
Yeah, I don’t really get it. It’s another Switch, okay. Do we know how powerful it’s expected to be? Like, Xbox One X equivalent, or Series S even?
I suggest you don’t say that, the handheld market is growing without Nintendo’s new hardware in the mix so things are bount to be rather interesting for the rest of the year.
Majority will know it’s a new console by numbers than naming it after already established console. Wii U really gives that peripheral sensation, especially when you don’t look at it. A number will make you automatically think a new device that will leave the older obsolete in due time. All they have to do now is sell it in marketing and presentation.
I’m not sure at all yet if I’m getting one on day one. It will depend on what this thing will do for existing Switch in terms of enhancements. I haven’t played Tears of the Kingdom yet for example, I might get Breath of the Wild too, depending on in what way it looks and performs better than it does now.
It definitely seems like Mario Kart 9 could be a launch title, unless that’s MK8 showing a new track. That brief snippet looks so much like 8 you could fool me.
I think it is a new one mainly due to DK look more like the movie version.
April 2 is going to be their moment to make or break and by that I mean, “Make it as the absolute must on day one or break that chance but still sell well.”
Indeed, that trailer didn’t sell it at all. We need to see the games and gimmicks.
They basically did Samsung: announce the device and see how it looks; then much later, talk about specs and features.
Yeah, I’m definitely Nintendo’s target audience: older fan with disposable income. That said, this did nothing for me either and it’s still frustrating that we’ll know more about it from leaks months before Nintendo even talks about it again. I just wish this industry would jettison its obsession with secrecy when it serves no one, even Nintendo.
I like the design a lot! Probably not getting one anytime soon since I barely game on my Switch atm, but will consider buying one when there is a nice backlog of games.
The trailer is pretty lame though compared to the OG first Switch trailer.
Looks nice and using magnetism for the Joycons is a plus, but was hoping for more details on what it’s capable of, so I’m kinda non-plussed about it at the moment.
One thing I’m interested in, is enhanced BC titles. I’ve still got the Zelda titles to play through, so hopefully they’ve done some work on that side of things.
