The studio did tweet about it yesterday about showing something, but this does fall under showing something. Gameplay wasn’t mentioned, but it should be a given to be honest.

No, the Suicide Squad section is done. The Gotham Knights section still hasn’t happened (that was a leak).
Wasn’t Gotham Knights shown as a segment last year with the cinematic trailer followed by the gameplay trailer or were they throughout the showcase? I remember watching developers from WB Montreal talk about the game and show both trailers but that was after the livestream.
Hoping the trailer that leaked is to setup a gameplay trailer but we’ll see.
I am disappointed that there was no gameplay for Suicide Squad. At least a minute teaser would have sufficed.

Suicide Squad gameplay will not be shown until after Gotham Knights is out. That’s the next game they’re trying to sell you.

Because both are DC. And it’s looking like they’ll bookend the year. Gotham Knights early, Suicide Squad for Holiday, I’m thinking.
I’m going with Gotham Knights in late summer/early fall 2022 and Suicide Squad gets pushed to 2023. I don’t see either being WB’s Holiday title because that will most likely be Hogwarts Legacy in November 2022.

Kinda like Sony showing gameplay of both Wolverine and Spidey 2 during the same show. It’s possible but kinda unlikely.
Some said this about Xbox too, that they won’t show any other RPG until Starfield is out, but I don’t think that’s the same.
Yeah when there’s only 2 DC games coming, I don’t think that’s the same. Plus, they’re very similar (co-op 3rd person action-adventure games). They don’t want people to be blown away by Suicide Squad and say “I’ll wait for that, I’m skipping Gotham Knights”.
Thinking about it, I wouldn’t be surprised to see gameplay for Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad and Hogwarts Legacy in December at The Game Awards as it has the biggest freaking audience out of every showcase/event.
I can see hogwart legacy out of those 3 an open world rpg in the Harry Potter universe that’s sounds amazing

Hahaha. True. Just need to see gameplay and the structure of it. It’s on my list but that trailer didn’t do anything for me. It’s at least 1-2 years away so we’ll see what happens. Long ways to go.
