This looks like both CC and Modder mods, this is awesome!

Started a new character to use the some mods without achievements. While doing my usual mineral collection in the area before the artifact, I was walking underneath the rock bridge when I noticed a wall that was darker than the rest of the rocks with some cracks on it. Turns out it’s another destructable wall similar to the ice walls in the cryogenic lab POI, that we can break down with our minining laser.

It makes me wonder if I have been missing these in other caves.

Never mind. Found the information I was looking for.

I haven’t played with mods on any of the previous Bethesda games. If you disable a mod, does it then re-enable achievements for characters that have played with mods enabled? Or would I have to create a new character to be able to get achievements again?

I believe it disables it permanently on that save file.

So, just make a duplicate save to go back to.

Gotcha. Thanks. That’s a slight bummer actually, but I get it.

Yeah, on PC you can just get a mod that re-enables it.

Oh? Interesting… I wonder how all that works with cross save.

That’s… an interesting question. Maybe you can’t do it with the Windows store version.

I wanted to watch the rest of the video but avoid further spoilers, so I dragged the playhead until I saw a crafting table and watched from there. They talk about weapons and ammo crafting, as well as the creation kit. They even have some of their verified creators talking on camera. It’s pretty cool and worth a watch.

This link starts at 1:55, after the tracker aliance spoiler stuff:

I downloaded the new update and since I purchased the Premium Edition, I received 1000 credits to use in the creations menus. I basically bought the Trackers Alliance mission that takes place after the free quest that sets it up in-game. I’m assuming that 1000 credits is $10 U.S. The mission was 700 credits ($7) and I can already see myself spending a lot of money if Bethesda Game Studios has a lot of created quests that they do themselves and make available for purchase. Relaxing today since I have the Ubisoft Showcase to watch in a few hours but will get back to Starfield tomorrow and these new quests as well.

I fucking love this game!!! :joy:

Oooh I got the Premium Edition to play early and so I got the DLC - didn’t realise I’d get some Creation credits…

I’ve been looking at the free stuff via a web browser at work, seems once I’m home it’s time to check out the premium stuff - I didn’t really do the Tracker’s Alliance stuff in my playthrough so may hold them for another mission if there’s one that figures more into my team and style (for example I’d love one that explores more of the Titan homestead, maybe linked to Heller given he grew up there)

I like what I’m seeing in terms of updates to the game. I keep wrestling with firing this back up now versus letting Bethesda cook a bit longer.

Looks like you get a space trenchcoat from that mission? I’ll probably buy it too, I’ve been craving a space trenchcoat.

Yeah, after you download the update and go into the Creations Menu which is on the main menu of the game itself, a pop-up will appear asking to confirm that you want to accept the 1000 credits. It gets added on the top right corner of the screen and you can then browse all the creations.

I only have interest in the creations from Bethesda Game Studios. I just want their stuff. If I was to go into the creations/mods stuff, forget about it. It would be like back in the day when I was editing and customizing ESPN NFL 2K5 which I did more of than actually playing the game. lmao. So im just sticking with what BGS creates and it has to be quests as I don’t care about the other stuff like weapons, cosmetics and whatnot.

And wait a minute, what do you mean the Tracker’s Alliance stuff in your play through? I don’t do those kiosk missions boards because I know that’s all randomly generated and never end so I don’t do any of that stuff so is it something else?

I do remember going to Cydonia on Mars and when you first enter the underground city, you come across a woman standing against the wall and I did one quest from her which was a bounty but after that one quest, it was all mission board related which im not into. I thought this was actually funny because im actually wanted in the game because that was the third trait I selected. lol

Or is the Tracker’s Alliance something completely different? Because if so, I haven’t come across that yet.

Oh nice. Haven’t played the mission yet. Will do so tomorrow. I wonder if there’s a Deus Ex Mankind Divided type coat in the game.
