Starfield |OT| You're Finally Awake... In Space!

Yeah, you get a tooltip telling you what kind of area it is when you click on a spot. You would think people would realize planets are not the same all over… even if only from experience of our own. Tad bit different to land in Antarctica or the Congo…

People are incredibly dumb.

Oh I did experiment plenty with how planets/moons look in different times of day, weather conditions, and how they can be lit (I build a quick outpost to put a chair and pass the time). I even encountered somewhat of an eclipse lol, was not very realistically simulated but it still looked very cool

There are some exceptions I have found, but generally it has been barren planets and sometimes those planets have, craters, hills, mountains deserts, plateaus.

But even then, the planet that’s only craters could have a mountain size crater to jump off of, with some of the signs of life or even breathable atmosphere.

Has anyone had any luck levelling up the ‘Martial Arts’ skill?

I have to disarm 10 enemies by melee or unarmed attacks. At this point I have hit hundreds of enemies, many of which drop their weapons but it’s stuck at 1/10.

I also can’t level ‘Decontamination’ - I have tried all sorts to get infected but never do!

Yeah, the terrain is varied even on the “rocks”.

So just did another survey, I had just arrived at the system and was about to explore the planet when I decided to zoom out. I found an anomoly close to a nearby planet, so I went to check it out and started with that planet. The very first chemical feature I found was the one I was looking for, meaning I could explore the rest of the system later.

Ok cool.

Errrrr… why would u leave ?

Sorry, it was suppose to be if we don’t see any(either on the planetary scan or on ground), we can leave. I need to read over my responses more carefully before and after I post.

These birds are a bunch of assholes, supposedly their temperament is peaceful, but I keep seeing them attack and try to kill other animals.

I just did that one earlier today too so I know exactly where you’re at.

That mission I acquired passively early in the game from the 1st visit to Cydonia, I’m now doing all ones like it that I put on hold til I finished the main quest. A lot of them are really cool and give the world real weight, some go on to be very expansive actually.

Yeah that set of quests had me bouncing all over, the part right before that one was a bit unexpected and I decided to be a “bad guy” with how I played it to get some extra credits.

Can you power the lamps you can build in your apartment? They have a activate/deactivate interaction but nothing happens. I know in outposts you can, but it would be cool to have them in aperments too, to highlight your decorations.

Deep into the Crimson Fleet faction quest now and it’s another great one. Bethesda really stepped up the questing in particular with this game. I’m playing it mostly entirely quest-driven and it’s really working out well.

Big time. I liked every big questline (especially the Vanguard), only the Freestar one was kinda meh.

Freestar was the weakest for sure, but the reward made up for it I feel hehe.

I half forgot my current ship is the Star Eagle lol, yeah it’s cool.

Yesterday I started the Crimson quest line. …Then I realised that my flat was beginning to look like The Key. So I am going to give the game a little break and focus on real life for a bit.

Delgado is the very definition of twat.
