Starfield |OT| You're Finally Awake... In Space!

Sorry I think there’s crossed wires here, I was talking about someone who posted in this thread saying that stealth wasn’t possible…

Met our friendly pet lover and flew across the map, 0.39 gravity means never needing to land.

So been doing some crafting(spacesuit) and learned that we can meet there crafting requirements for the next level by just changing the same mod on a single item over and over again.

Whoever said that hasn’t properly used the weapon upgrading. The magazine and internal upgrades can increase damage massively. Plus there mods for fire rate that do double shots which I found work amazing on hand guns

Yep I started experimenting with hand guns last night, the skill perks with them are pretty OP too!

This video explains the smart way to set up a storage system in the outpost. You only need the first 5-10 minutes to get the idea.

I’m brutal at inventory management, hopefully this helps me out.

I just use the chest in the Lodge as it has unlimited space.

When I want to craft I take it all out, go to relevant desk then drop back in chest again.

Same.

I also stopped collecting materials because UC distributions, Trade Authority and the electronic shop next to TA at the Well sell everything I currently need to upgrade and research.

I’m coming up on the end of the Ryujin faction quests and this has been pretty crazy. Really enjoying it, though the stealth does irritate me a little even with my stealth halfway leveled, an operative suit and a chameleon helmet they see me too easily.

Does the operative suit provide any extra stealth? Also did you upgrade the space suit, helmet and pack with the grav mod that lowers detection? Are you using the drug that reduces noise made by 30%?

So far I haven’t done any stealth, but the drug and the spacesuit upgrade are easily enough to get.

What helps a lot is to use a EM weapon. Count as unseen.

Also don’t forget to take off your spacesuit, helmet and jetpack.

If you don’t have Concealment at lvl 2 don’t push your stick all the way because it count as running and make more noise.

I think to be effective on stealth the perk needs to be at least rank 2.

I’m at level 2, and it’s definitely more effective than 1, just doesn’t seem as much so as I’d expect. I’m not using any weapon on them, trying to go through without any notice. It’s doable, the quest just before this one honestly was even worse because at that point I was just stealth level 1 and I didn’t have the op suit which reduces detection by 25% I think.

I’ve got my spacesuit off to be quieter, haven’t used mods on clothing though and I keep forgetting about the aids for quietness. It’s just the sneaking past guards in a dangerous environment, and in the games defense, its supposed to be a tense difficult situation so I’m not complaining TOO much.

I think that the drugs is mostly to use with the spacesuit and the mods, as it looks like it works like heavy armor in Skyrim.

I saw this and there’s some really good tips there. Just stay only in that thread though, haha.

I didn’t even bother with stealth, just went in loud* (*with nonlethal weapons) and everything worked out fine.

Eventually I will try my hand at this too.

Yeah, and that totally would work, I’m at the part where I’m trying to sneak from a bathroom past a couple guards and keep getting spotted so before resetting I’ve taken my frustration out on them a few times now… It’s just I wanted to be stealthy. I kinda wish I’d finished leveling up this skill before starting it, cause to level it you have to do sneaky shots and I don’t want to do that right now even though I have a spare point.

Something looks familiar here
