Starfield |OT| You're Finally Awake... In Space!

I guess I haven’t seen that, I’ve always seen the value slightly higher than the register price. Maybe I’m mistaken

I can just try it and reload a save if no good

Doing a mission and suddenly I’m stuck cause I’m in space combat I can’t escape and I get blown up near instantly. Man, just when I was starting to enjoy it.

Now I can’t complete it at all cause the ships have vanished. Sounds like this quest is just super bugged from what I’ve read. Lovely. Edit: Might have to lose all the progress I made on this quest and make sure I have a better ship when I start it. It’s the Groundpounders quest. Apparently if you flee them the ships don’t stay where they are supposed to and follow you and get bugged.

Don’t skip the activities. Many say speak to some person or go to some place but they lead to some long side mission and many are the best part of the game including the faction quests

If can reload to before this part of the mission, lower the difficulty to very easy, space combat in this game gets brutal if you don’t have the means to survive on higher difficulties.

Anything that seems worthwhile I will do. Radiant quests I will leave alone unless I happen to be on the particular planet or near it.

I’m on my 2nd NG+ and it keeps getting better. I don’t know how they did it, but it’s true. It pains me that I have to put aside at the moment.

There’s so many games coming these next few weeks that I had to rush some of the questlines, but I’m still thinking about it. There’s so many stuff to see and do that my mind still can’t grasp how big this game is even after 100 hours (I had to double check because it felt like way less to me). The randomness of some of the events paired with emergent gameplay blows my mind.

That happened to me early game, what I finally managed to do was just jump to a random location.

The quest with looking for Percival and paying his debt shouldn’t be this funny but it was lmao, when I hacked into their system and changed his debt to 1 credit and it worked and he thought they just felt bad for him :sob: was so hilarious

It’s not a great answer, but I had the same problem and just moved on doing other quests. At some point they reappeared lol, I think it was after I finished the crimson tides story line. Obviously don’t know what exactly triggered their reappearance though.

They probably just reset themselves due to enough time passing in game. I haven’t checked yet in Starfield, but in previous Bethesda games everything “resets” or “respawns” after about 2 weeks in game time. So, items you looted will appear again and dead bodies will disappear. Hopefully that means bugged quest targets and enemies just reset themselves.

I need more sidequests… Any tips on things I might have missed outside the big hubs?

I don’t know if they really qualify as true side quests, but if you go to a planet that has a Civilian Outpost, that outpost will have its own mission board with missions specific for that system. Usually it’s just missions to destroy this pirate ship, or kill this pirate leader at this base, etc, but it’s something else to do.

Hm yeah, I don’t really count those. But good tip nevertheless. This also exists at other random installations, or if you talk to personnel at these sites. Kinda neat.

I might have to do the remaining faction quest and jump back into the main quest then. I think the game shines the most when there’s a purpose behind things.

Go to a solar system and see if there is a Distress Signal or a random spaceship that is just floating around.
