No bias in the media btw.
Yeah I loved cyberpunk but Starfield is better overall itās my favourite game this gen maybe even if all time.
But there are some things that arenāt great. Youād expect that in a game with such scope.
For sure. I also loved Cyberpunk, awesome game!
Yeah, itās impossible for a game of Starfieldās scope and depth to excel in every little thing. What they have accomplished is freaking amazing.
Speaking of Cyberpunk, Iām wondering how close Iāll be able to get to the 1000/1000 in Starfield before that DLC drops.
Does Cyberpunk count as an Xbox One game? If so itās probably my first or second favorite game of that gen.
Just luck of the rng that Jane had more than 1 potato in her inventory. Getting 50 potatoes for a quest is becoming tedious.
I always pick up all the fruit and veg I find in my adventures⦠Store them all in one of my outposts. Iām not a hamster, not at all. Wish I could lend you some haha.
Looking forward to playing Cyberpunk + Phantom Liberty sometime in the next 6-12 months . Iām glad I waited for the all the patches and fixes.
I played right after launch, had almost no issues. One crash and some minor visual bugs at times. Was great on Series X, got my 1000GS too.
Also looking forward to Phantom Liberty, looks great. Not sure when Iāll get around to itā¦
With Starfield and phantom liberty plus FM and maybe Jusant I wonāt need any other games for a long while thatās for sure!
Im struggling with this cargo link think. Gotba mission to deliver beryllium to Sol. Luna so found a planet with loads of it , set up extractors, storage and an inter system Cargo Link. Went to luna, did the same then linked them on the console but theres no delivery happening. Also theres a quest marker near a fracking starion but i cant do anything there, cant build etc.
Are you supplying the cargo link with Helium-3?
Also-- you donāt have to set up your own outpost on Luna. From the outgoing cargo link, you select to deliver to the supply mission itself instead of a destination outpost.
For a quest you only build an outpost at a supply point and then make sure you have the quest selected link that cargo link to the one that will appear in the listā¦.you donāt build two outposts.
Ah bugger, cheers gents, ill give that a go.
Started last night, got to space and fell asleep 0/10 put me to sleep.
Iām joking. I did fall asleep though, wasnāt the games fault I just, I was really tired. Although the opening bit is probably the weakest from any Bethesda game so far. Felt extremely rushed but they are known for great openings so even their weakest is still pretty decent.
There is a quest for that.
Yeah, I was wondering around and found it. The fact that we can just do the action without starting the quest is always appreciated.
How is Starfield opening weaker then Morrowind ?
- You arrive on a ship as an ex prisoner
- create character and class
- learn how to open a lock
- learn how to drag a ring and cast a spell
- open your journal
Excluding the characters creation the tutorial is done in 3min.
You can even skip some dialogue when talking with the guard so you never get the quest to meet up with the half naked man in Balmora.
When I meant āgameyā I meant that in Cyberpunk someone could spot you and you could still stealth away as long as you got away before their timer went off. Whereas in Starfield you are spotted immediately when youāre seen from a certain distance or make a sound.
- You are a new miner, first day on the job
- You spend 20 seconds mining
- Go to do a super important task
- Pass out
- Shoot some guys
- Suddenly you are super important and here is a free space ship and robot and you are part of some group, go talk to them.
Morrowind was meh for sure but it was done very quick and then you were free. So far Starfields super meh and railroady and not all that interesting. Maybe itās cause I was tired but it felt similar to Mass Effects opening but like, but like much worse.
I might just replay it being more awake and maybe change my mind but whatever. I know the rest of the game will be better.
You learn how to mine, learn how to shoot and have a proper start to the main quest.
In Morrowind you donāt even learn how to fight, donāt know that your skill level will influence your hit rate.
Again the main quest in Morrowind is to look for the half naked man in Balmora. First quest from Caius sends you to a dwemer ruin and pick up a dwemer cube or whatever.
Most of the people will give up on the quest or even the game because right before the dwemer ruin is a bandit who will definitely kill you if you donāt know what to do.
