I think the L.I.S.T-guy in Cydonia also buys scans for habitable planets.
Iām doing the same thing, I accidentally picked up some contraband and was like no I donāt want to disappoint her. Also just not really doing main quests but kinda just doing whatever comes up. I never play these types of games but itās just amazing.
This is really interesting.
Seems to bear out that the chose 30fps on balance, as the Xbox Series X CPU paired with the AMD equivalent for the PS5 RDNA2 GPU canāt run much further than 35fps in the major city areas.
Something else that occurred to me⦠There are going to be a ton of gamers who play Starfield as their first Bethesda game, either because theyāre younger or they just missed them before. āWait a minute, there are other games just like Starfield but in a fantasy world??ā This is going to drive a lot of traffic back to Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout.
Yeah, and imagine if there was a service which had all of those games includedā¦
Hot take maybe, but I dunno personally donāt see any reason why they still have to do all those physics and interactable objects, itās cool, but seriously thereās no real gameplay difference, and itās a lot of compute, without it game would likely be more performant. Would like to hear why they think itās important, and maybe it serves a purpose Iām not smart enough to figure out?
Itās just part of what makes their RPGs unique and is considered part of the āBethesda charm.ā Like the way people are going wild over the room full of potatoes. It has nothing to do with quests or game progression but itās that element of, You think this would be cool or itās the way you want to express yourself in this world? The game will let you do it.
Those little things and physics are one of the reasons BGS games stand out from the rest, for some people it might not mean much but for others itās a big part of what makes them BGS games
Personally I take ambition and features over slightly better performance any day
Thanks @Astrakan I have been watching a few videos to see what I have been doing wrong and a few people have mentioned building a mission board then accepting the cargo link missions which apparently creates cargo links to various vendors to sell your resources automatically.
I will probably try it tonight as I have quite a big outpost now, I just canāt be bothered to keep flying back there.
I would just like to say that I really appreciate this little corner of the internet where people talk about the game like normal people.
Thank you all.
game industry with the classic starfield is a niche game. Bunch of trash. Paid for by Sony. All the uk rags are.
Shadowgasm liked that.
Yea this is one of the few places where this game can be talked about without getting trolled about it.

HOLY FUCK⦠YOU CAN PULL HAIR
Ship parts and their location https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/16denj9/the_cosmetic_pieces_available_from_each_shipyard/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb
The Starfield subreddit is also pretty normal surprisingly considering itās reddit
I think every Bethesda game subreddit is pretty chill. Only the TES lore subreddit is a little bit nuts because of Michael Kirkbride canon discussion.
Hooray! Done with work for the week. Got busy so I havenāt played for two or three days. Ready to plop on the couch and head back out to space.
