Yeah, the side content is massive and thereās so many fun and well written quests out there. It really brings life to a lot of places. I think rushing the main quest would be a huge mistake if youāre an immersive player.
I feel like Iām an odd one out in regards to this. In the vast majority of RPGās that I play, I usually roleplay as law enforcement. So in starfield, Iāve been enjoying the Rangers faction questline. I almost hardly commit crime, and prefer to punish criminals.
I usually play a very morally grey character in my RPGās but this time Iām very good for some reason. I think itās Sarahās influence, I donāt want to disappoint her haha.
To Sony fans Xbox is literally not allowed to have ANY success. A good portion of their gaming hobby is dunking on Xbox and not actually playing games.
In Elder Scrolls games I go full on thief. Because all of the characters have day/night sleep cycles, I can break into shops and homes at night and take everything. Unfortunately, they donāt seem to do that in Starfield (and Fallout as well I believe), so I tend to do less thievery.
For my first playthrough Iām playing as a morally ambiguous character. I wonāt shy away from shady dealings, but Iām not seeking them out. I just started a character on the PC version and I think Iām going to go full scumbag with that one and terrorize the settled systems.
Yeah, this is the weirdest part of that fandom. The focus on Xbox is overwhelming at times, itās more about being anti-Xbox than pro-PS. That goes for both cultists and more sane fans.
generally all criminal activity I commit involves lockpicking(nothing is marked as steal though), anything more complicated usually involves helping an npc with a quest that tends to benefit the location I took the quest:Cydonia, Gagarin, Akila, and New Atlantis being locations that I picked up a quest that led me to do things outside the proper law channels.
Sarah would reluctantly to commit a crime for something that she considers important.
Its like to them if at any point Sony is not #1 and always in the spotlight that somehow Sony will go away.
Also it seems alot of gamers do not know gaming without Sony. Iāve been a gamer since the late 1970ās Iāve seen this industry way before Sony and now after Sony and honestly they are nothing special in the history of gaming and have caused a lot of anti consumer issues over the decades.
Iām sure if Sony went out of business someone else would make sad dad walking sims and could copy Sonyās anti consumer crap without much problem.
Same here, except I am playing a Judge Dredd hardass enforcer type who gives people one chance to comply, and then starts to apply the muscle and/or bullets. Sarah and Sam did not like that approach one bit.
I feel Activites are one of the most overlooked things amongst players⦠So many things is taught or shown via them. (How things work, where things are in cities etc. Things like The Well in New atlantis f.e) Not to mention all the excellent quests which starts from some of those.
For those of you who do a lot of planet surveying like me, if you find yourself with 1 or 2 species of fauna that you canāt find despite the map saying ā100%ā for every biome, just remember that there are fish in this game. So, land as close to the ocean as you can and youāll find fish pretty quick.
Also, complete planet survey data is worth quite a bit and Vladimir will buy them off of you once you progress the main story to a certain point. I think I got 10-12k just for Jemison alone and most moons will net you ~1k. Itās easy money.
