Oh damn, well, the more you know. But it’s good to know for sure! Thanks man.
I think Starfield preview period may only be exclusive to some outlets and they will only be able to say once the early access period starts
I also think it is fair. 5 days are enough to judge a game and gamers can decide then and there.
As for Pre-Orders costomers, they have already pulled the trigger and they better try it out themselves rather then listen to someone else. Gamepass users does not care either way.
Its only unfair to reviewers but most of them will have the early access period. editors and journalists will be having a field day that weekend.
BG3 reviewers got there’s like 4 days before release
It will be an immensely huge game but 2 weeks is a lot, plus nobody is forcing them to have reviews out before EA begins
They would have to go out this week. Would be incredibly irresposible from bethesda and MS to give people only a week to review a game like this.
BG3 reviews are staggered and the developers had 0 interest in review hype. Syarfield by default will have one and is a much bigger game
Also bG3 reviews came out days after game was out
Starfield cant get away with that. The biased anti xbox media wont let them get away with it.
The lore is very nice!
If you want to see the full time line you have to scroll down first, took me a brief moment to find it.
I’m so excited to discover the lore regarding what happened on Earth: climate change, asteroid impact, nuclear war, or maybe even something else?
Also would like love to see whether Earth is even visitable and how did they go about recreating it if it is.
I’m very lucky in my work, in how we can book days off. These days,I only now book a day off for the showcase events, but Starfield is so, so different…
Super hyped
My bird is ace, she knows what I’m like when it comes to SEGA, Football, Ferrari and Xbox. It helps the kids are now 30 and 28 and flown the nest. I can still act like a kid on a big game event day.
I just can’t wait… I’ll be on my Series X playing Starfield and falling asleep drunk on the Captains Morgans . I live for events like that LOL
So that website PeterOvo5 is talking about was wrong. Sounds like reviewers get a good amount of time after all!
So it would end up being 2 weeks right?
Yeah, just about 2 weeks. I assume they would want the reviews to be out on August 31th (morning) to attract people towards getting Early Access.
I wonder if all reviewers will stick nicely to the nda, assuming there is one. Or if we’ll get some rumblings here and there about how epic it is.
I don’t know if that matters as much as it used to. Look at Baldur’s gate. They worked on that right up until the deadline and released it. Plus, with gamepass and early access and general promotions, do they even care?
As a significant amount of the people who would read the review also will just get it free in gamepass. So if you have it in gamepass why read a review when you can just try it yourself?
Early access is not free!
Yeah that would be my guess too. I can’t see the review embargo being on september 1, definitely at least a day before.
Either way, not long now until we play it! And I wonder what this interactive event will be.
