I think your typical BGS main story is only in the 30-40 hour range. The hook is in the non story content.
Thatās not bad. Of course, depending on if youāre taking your time and whatnot, it will probably be longer than that. Weāll know soon enough. I agree in regards to the hook not being the story campaign.
Skyrim was about 30 or so hours if you mainlined it, 100 if you did all the main side quests and over 200 hours if you wanted to clear every possible thing. Starfield seems bigger in every way so I bet the side stuff is orders of magnitude more.
Canāt figure out how to share a link that actually works, but if anyone was interested in that Starfield log / journal for keeping notes of your travels, Target has it for 17.99 (MSRP was 19.99) - and that way you donāt have to buy from some unknown store which is where it was before. Just search Starfield in their store.
The. Hype should ramp up before september. The game is playable on the 1st. So that last week leading up to it should be enourmous
Thats a genuine starfirld fan channel. He doesnt need clickbait videos
I buy Game Pass in bulk years ahead via Gold, I aināt paying no $17 a month lol. Game Pass is a thing I allready have and use for other games too, Starfield is āfreeā (My yearly GP cost for 2023 payed for itself allready in February this year).
I have gamepass why on earth would I buy it? I literally donāt understand this. I have no concept of a ācollectionā - since that died out for me years and years ago when I stopped buying physical games.
Gamepass games show up the same in my ācollectionā as any other title.
No idea why Iād buy it tbh. Iāve already paid for it through gamepass.
Iāll buy the premium upgrade for sure but thatās it.
Canāt wait for the game, even though Iāll never finish it or see the end. Iām just so looking forward to just fly around and explore the world, just like I did with Elite 2 the Amiga 600
Iāve booked 2 days off work and already got my bottle of Captions Morgan Spice rum ready for the big day.
Many people donāt, I know of people who just prefer to get very few games and play them for long, and hell some donāt even buy and just play one or two f2p games and thatās it. The concept of having so many choices of games to play no matter how cheap isnāt really attractive to all people. I think a large part of the Bethesda community is closer to that, where they purchase and play it for a very long time, and in that case an outright purchase is cheaper to them than repeatedly renewing a subscription where all theyāll play is Starfield.
Iām not talking about people who donāt sub - Iām saying people who do - why on earth would you buy it?
Interesting question and I really donāt know why, but I can guess that some people like the feeling of āsupportingā the games that way, some people buy the game two or three times on different platforms just to feel like supporting it that way.
While Iām not buying it, I can still understand why some hardcore BGS fans would like to have a physical copy. Personally Iāve gone all digital, I rarely ever buy physical copies, but I can understand it.
Buying the game digitally while also having Game Pass, not sure about that one either.
This is a line of thinking I can get behind. While I personally wouldnāt bother with supporting such a big and popular game from such a big and popular developer, Iāve definitely been āguiltyā of buying smaller games I adore just go support the dev. My latest example of this being the new Monkey Island, and Iāll likely end up buying Planet of Lana as well. And thatās despite completing them while playing on Game Pass.
That said, I wonāt look sideways at a Game Pass subscriber who chooses to buy Starfield as a way of showing Bethesda some support.
Is the preinstall available today, as all i get is the 350mb place holder thingy.
I donāt think so, itās still only the Amazon store listing that has stated today would be pre-load day.
pre load 3 weeks early seems kind of stupid for a bethesda game. No doubt thereās going to be a huge day patch.
