I’m really glad they made these. It’s really smart.
It’s possible the image is from the showcase, because they did show a bit of the wildlife. I would have to watch it again and keep a close eye.

As release day approaches Im trying to decide how I want to play the game, Ive just been reading some old 2000AD stuff, specifically the Ace Trucking stuff so at the moment Im going to try and build Speedo Ghost and play as Ace Garp…this almost certainly will change in the coming weeks, Ive gone through The Expanse and the Rocinante, Alien and the Nostromo, H2G2 Heart of Gold, Space 1999 Eagle and all kinds of other random stuff ha ha…

The anonymous source said they are very fascinated to see how it’s reviewed just because of the size of this game, how big it is.
Who might be playing now, reviewers, previews, or game testers?

I would imagine it has to be reviewers, because the game drops september 1st. Testers have been on it for a while now if the reports are to be believed and said it had exceeded their expectations.
Why does starfield need marketing? The sony fanboys are doing it for the game on twitter and other SM. The amount of tears this game is generating is insane

It doesn’t. The showcase was the marketing. That and being on game pass means there’ll be at least 35 million copies on launch day (with another 15 million on Game Pass Core 3-4 years down the line) …that and the Steam version is tracking above Hogwarts and Elden Ring.
I’m expecting 40+ million players in the first year and to beat Tears of the Kingdoms first 3 months in 7-10 days. Well beyond my original expectations.
Four days ago I posted the tweet about BGs’s Jamie Mallory, I had no idea myself that the article contained some bits of new info.
And especially this about quests, sounds damned good!
Whole article is worth it.

Just got my third Starfield ad, this with the what’s out there tagline and some gameplay.
I am very excited to review this one, and also dreading the reaction no matter how it goes 
Can’t give any dates/hints/etc. but I’m fairly confident that Xbox Era will have a review when everyone else does.

Jessie are you allowed to say when you will start playing the game for review?
Very rarely do they let you say when a code is coming in or you’re working on something like this. So, I doubt I’ll get to for this one either.

You’d think a brand new singleplayer Todd Howard/BGS will get universal praise, mostly. I remember the reviews of Fallout 4. But no matter what some say, I do think there could be this bias against Xbox, and some outlets will let that show.
Saw a video by Matty yesterday and he said basically all what is happening now, no previews, not a ton of marketing etc is par for the course for Bethesda. But I could swear there were several previews for Fallout 4? Perhaps those were all based on just watching a dev play it.

I just googled “Fallout 4 preview” and nothing showed up…
I recall some articles that contained brand new screenshots at the time and they talked about how it looked and some gameplay stuff. And this was before launch. Ah well, whatever it was, it isn’t so unusual after all then.
