Just give them to the moderns and they will run out of planets
The concern trolling over this game is already unbearable
I guess I shouldnāt be surprised since itās not coming to a certain platform
yeah, the main narrative is something Iām completely already out on presuming thatās what it is, itās beyond overdone at this point. Even The Expanse had this mysterious advanced alien artefact driving it, but it only used that to advance the main plot of the show/book - the conflict between the Inners and the Belt.
Yeah people are going nuts on taking every nugget of information in the most negative light possible. Really unpleasant.
Yeah, weāll see. Whatever is hand crafted will be what I end up playing.
Yes very excited to see the modding potential. Thereās gonna be Fallout planets and Skyrim planets
It is as if somebody wiped out the memory of what Bethesda game is
There was concept art that showed caves and in the deep dive they showed it ingame. But yeah, I really hope there will be some unique areas to explore. Skyrim had some very cool ones. The one with the huge floating mushroom things was amazing, with the pretty bright lights.
The artworks also had what looked like a jungle type of location, really cool. I bet they have so much they didnāt show. I kinda just want to not know too.
Remember when dense open worlds in Ubisoft games were constantly criticized for being ātheme parksā and āchecklistsā? And that open worlds needed to be more natural and have more empty space?
And then Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima came out, and for some reason you didnāt hear those criticisms much anymore?
Yeah and they heavily implied you can just mainquest the game in a guided way more like a normal game.
in a sci-fi space game i would assume space stations or research complexes. this stuff.
Read that which is very good for me. Iām very happy about that because when Howard said that itās about the story you create (meaning the gamer), I was thinking that there was no main story campaign or that it was very short. Sounds great for me.
Hopefully not limited to that. Space is endless possibilities, itās sci-fi, I hope to see some very cool unique indoor locations too, caves with weird creatures and mysteries to unravel or solve.
Thereās always been a main story in BGS games but most people go beyond and get attached to exploring everything else on top and role playing, and sometimes even ignoring the main story. Itās what you choose to do with it like Pete said, you can customize your experience that way or just mainquest it. Thereās so much stuff that you donāt even have to touch that will be other peopleās favorite bits. Like the settlement building in FO4, completely optional and you donāt have to bother with it, but to others it was the best part of the game.
It took me years before I finally finished Oblivions story, I really enjoyed it I just kept getting distracted
Skyrim I still havnt finished the main quest
We will see what happens with Starfield lol
Thereās definitely a lot of stuff in Starfield. Funny thing is that the biggest complaint I have seen is the shooting and gunplay which is the best thing I saw. lol. I have my issues but if im enjoying the combat and shooting mechanics, I will be very happy.
Is the base building in Starfield optional or mandatory?
Whatās been Implied and also consistent with their other games as well, is that itās optional.
Okay. Wasnāt sure. Thanks.
Phew, I wonder if somebody online will be asking if Starfield has character leveling or not
The bit where Pete Hines spoke about release dates and how they want to announce them and donāt have to change them later, that itās not something they take lightly.
That sounds a bit reassuring to me about the Q1 window for the game. I donāt even remember what their last game was that had to be delayed, Oblivion? They will do all they can to release on time. But itās of course never 100% guaranteed.
