To me the Jaffe God of Wars are the best in the series, and Twisted is still to this day an awesome game, but near the end he wasn’t all that good and ever since he’s left Sony, he has definitely gone down a dark path to a point where I don’t recognize the guy anymore.
a YT comment summed up this ‘controversy’ perfectly. people mocked Starfield because it ‘looks’ like NMS but now they they are mad because you can’t explore a planet the same way as you do with the latter.
make up your own mind.
Do you think the planet zones in Starfield will be different sizes? In that leaked video, the player reached the invisible wall by running from his ship in only around 10 minutes. Do you think it can take up to like 40 minutes to reach an invisible wall in another planet zone?
Or even something like radiation your can’t pass or something or like you can’t go any further cause you are leaving safe communication range. Just even a dumb in universe reason why you can’t pass. But yeah, everything being a boxed in mountain would suck.
Or hell if not being able to swim is actually a thing, then just rivers or oceans lol
I take your point about the ‘invisible wall’ thing, but that can still be done ‘in universe’ (tether range from ship or some such) better than every planet mysteriously being cut up into clear, gemotric, obstacles/
Didn’t Jaffe only make the first GOW? GOW2 was directed by Cory Balrog IIRC (also responsible for GOW2018/Ragnarok).
He only made Gow1 but I agree on that style. My personal fav is Gow2 which Cory directed. Probably legit my fav sony game ever or close 2nd behind SOTC
You are indeed right, I completely forgot about that.
I still prefer the PS2 GOW games however, the fighting in the new games doesn’t even come close imo.
Well, there you go.

I dont know where to ask the question without it being a spoiler so I’m putting it behind a spoiler tag. Hope it’s okay.
There was a comment by Jez that he started the main quest after 40h but regretted it because of something unlocking via main quest. To which main quest should we play to go on fully exploration mode ?
Edit:
Apparently you should finish the main quest first and start new game + for the best experience. You unlock some stuff which make the playthrough much better.
