I feel like this industry is going mad.

There was a point about 8 years ago when people seemed to be finally waking-up from the Metacritic obsession (I remember a few popular games like Destiny which got 7’s & 8’s but it didn’t matter because people loved the game), but the insanity about review aggregates somehow seems way worse now than ever before.

I just want a space rpg by the makers of Skyrim & Fallout where I loot stuff, upgrade stuff, shoot stuff & influence stuff in the world. If it does all that successfully, then it’ll be worth my time.

Of course you can’t seamlessly explore an entire planet, do you not understand how large a planet is?

The ONLY issue I have with it is the invisible walls, if true. I HATE HATE HATE invisible walls. Put up a real wall, or a mountain I can’t climb etc. Give me an in universe reason and I am fine with it.
