Relax folks, not gonna pretend the news isnât disappointing, it sucks ass and the rest of the year is looking dull both first and third party wise but xbox will be fine
We already got through the first 6 months with very tunic and little else, we can get through the next 6 with almost certainly more than that

No, I donât think itâs positive. Just saying you canât prepare for unpredictable game delays or react to them like the way people are saying in this thread. Thatâs the reality.
wrt MS and deals ppl use both âMS is rich, they can simply outpay everyone elseâ and âms cant compete with market leaderâ lol, just forget it.

I highly doubt MS thinks this is perfect and normal to do lol, I donât think if we didnât complain or be critical they would be like oh shit we donât need games afterwall.
(not saying donât be critical just I donât think being critical in this situation is going to suddenly make them realise they need games)

Still failing to understand that MS isnât just gonna write a blank check for gamepass deals, and devs believing they can make more money by selling their games on the Xbox traditionally.
Dying Light 2 sold 5 million copies in a month, and Elden Ring is at 13 million copies for instance. They arenât regretting not doing any gamepass deal lol.

Microsoft should really start doing time exclusive deals - it is often a safe option if your first party is not delivering for various reasons.
But they should, it is beneficial for fighting games too.
Just because Microsoft is rich, it does not mean they are wasting money.
Not saying people shouldnât criticize Xbox and all that stuff, people have every right to be disappointed, but letâs not act like only Xbox has this problem, when the whole industry is being hit. No devs want to disappoint, but sometimes things are not going the way we want to. So it is disappointing, but Iâm sure if people just start thinking about how it might be from the other side, they would at least try to understand.
As gamers, we really wanted to play these games this year, but between what we want, and how things are shaping up, there is always a difference. Right now, I think there are much bigger problems in the world to be hung up on delays.
For all we know, this was just something like âNobody wants to be the next Cyberpunk, right?â It doesnât necessarily mean anything. Schrier gets a lot of undeserved crap, but he absolutely included that for more traction.
Xbox isnât a charity but they donât have to reach any subjective standard for a single freaking gameshow next month.
