I’m tired of “just wait for this or that” to make my opinion, I’ve seen enough really.
The delay is great for the games, but they need to be active in solving the content problem this year, where are the BIG releases for gamepass?

They tried calling it Wolf3nstein and saw internal focus groups cringe so bad the game got cancelled

There isn’t anything bar MW2 that’s gonna replace Starfield, it was the biggest game for the rest of the year

They got delayed too. Stalker was supposed to launch in April.

There are not a lot of releases to secure timed exclusivity for this year nor does it really fix anythinr. It only artificially props up the release schedule.
Well, this sucks. I’ll always champion devs/publishers that decide to delay to make the game what it needs to be, so I’m fine with it. Still sucks though.
I get why people are upset at MS, but game development is unpredictable, and not just for MS. If you look at the industry in general, almost everything has or is being delayed. A lot of games that didn’t get hefty delays came out horribly broken. So, it is what it is, be mad if you need to.

The only worth noting this first half was Tunic.
Wolfeinstein 3 and the Johanas game from Tango are still the big question marks.

Lol, there’s no way you can replace something like this at the last minute, for example, we are not even sure if Bayonetta 3 and Gow Ragnarok will even be released this year for sure, Jason said he doesn’t trust any date until few weeks before the release when asked about the latter.
The only hope is that maybe Forza could end up picking the date provided if it can, we don’t even know that a bunch of stuff for 2023 can result in purposed delays to avoid canibalization.
Sony marketing deal prevents this. We saw it leak with RE Village.

That is exactly what I am wondering. Because the announcement really gives me an ironic feeling, considering their big boss Phil、co founder and Greenberg the marketing manager were sending some positive tweets about Bethesda’ s work several days ago.
They were delayed lol, what you’re talking about, I think Ghostwire was essentially delayed for a year, wasn’t Deathloop meant to be a PS5 launch title or still at the remaning weeks of 2020?
