They dont own the majority of the studios developing GAAS for them.

They actually belong to:

  1. Fractions - Naughty Dog

  2. New live-service - Guerilla second team

  3. Twisted Metal - Firesprite

  4. New Ip - Bungie

  5. Live Service game - Haven

  6. Multiplayer game - Insomniac

  7. Mlb the Show - San-diego

  8. Live service game - London Studio

  9. Gaas game - media molecule

  10. Online Shooter - Firesprite

There are three sides left:

  1. Arrowhead Project
  2. Firewalk project
  3. Deviation Games project (I think there will be a company. And it will be something like Call Of Duty, but from Sony)

You’re listing out a bunch of rumors when 95% of the time Playstation rumors are false.

These are literally all games that are based on their job listings and information from trusted sources like VGC

I’m sorry, there’s nothing I can do about it

Again, the majority of the time these turn out to be false. There’s a reason Playstation insiders that look at this stuff all the time are wrong over and over again.

The only thing we do know is Playstation plans on increasingly making more and more GAAS and its their primary area for investment.

Sony did confirm they’d have 10 service games by 2026, and that was before the Bungie acquisition.

Xbox does it for other games like Smite with Nick collaboration, Eternal Return with their character pack, and for their own game, Halo Infinite does get those skins. Even if it’s “little” or games you don’t play, it is nice to get something out of it. I mean Premium right now feels rather weak.

I wouldn’t be surprised, Sony already spends money to get small amounts of exclusive content over Xbox to give themselves the perception of the better platform to play the game on. I mean they’ve been doing this with Destiny for a while. I wouldn’t be surprised if now that they own Bungie they continue with this system, and tying it to PS+ would make sense.

Anecdotally, their third party Riot Games deal provides more perks than their own first party games.

That is a big deal.

Hilarious comment from you. The two studios they just bought are working on service games.

And what do you mean by that? One of them is included in these 12 Another can be attributed and done 13 So what did you want to say?

Nintendo have teams that are bigger than 3 or 4 studios combined compared to sony/MS

Yeah they do but since I don’t know their names I just numbered the studios they have (and even then I don’t know if its true)

not the same situation for multiple reasons but ABK will go though fine

probably some studio’s (ember and sloclap feel like no brainers, divation games I think is a when not if after haven, I could see them grabbing lucid tbh, arc work feels possible to give them a fighting game studio, I could also feel like some porting studio’s make sense…maybe ravio if they want to get more into the mobile space more (shocked no one has acquired them yet tbh)) but if they do go for a publisher I stick with my prediction of WB games with a licensing agreement

Sony can’t afford T2, they are worth about $30 billion minimum right now, if they even tried multiple companies would jump in too like MS, FB, Apple, Google, Amazon, Tencent ect. they would easily be outbidded on top of the fact they can’t afford it
