First I was excited for a new sonic, then disappointed when I saw the first trailer. Now articles and YouTubers are speaking positively about it.
I’m going to wait for the reviews before I commit. Can see this going on sale for the holidays or just after (but not by much).
I really hope this is good.
I’ve always thought and said, this will be like Halo Infinite. In that when people play it and get to travel around the world, they’ll like it or love it.
I simply can’t wait to play it on my Series X

The combat and movement is looking even better.
I am really hoping this game gets great reviews so Sonic games get bigger budgets in the future. You can tell they put their heart and soul into making this game, the music, combat, story cutscenes, open world design look much higher quality than a lof of recent Sonic games. I am nervous about reviews because I want to see Sonic team continue in this direction. I want this game to get reviews so good that there is no doubt that this will be the direction of Sonic games in the future.

Yeah played since launch now and it is actually pretty fun to play, especially when you reach the point where everything opens up for you to explore.
The gane is very mucb like Halo Infinite. Takes a while to get going , but when it opens up its ace . The IGN review is a joke
I would have liked to see higher scores but on the bright side most reviewers are saying its a solid first attempt and Sega needs to stick with this formula and its a foundation they can build upon going forward. Cant wait to finally play this game today.

No, they’ve reiterated multiple times that they plan on having Frontiers as the foundation for what comes next for Sonic.
