Hope actually something is being done, I’m just flabbergasted how you can fuck something like this up so badly. It’s been like this for a few weeks now since the latest patch, seriously.
Id love to play this game granted it doesnt get stuck on the Press any button section main screen.
Really Bethesda this is unnaceptable.
Ive booted the game up 3 times and I cant get past this section.

Game crashed off quick resume now Im stuck on the menu again
Yeah, I had it freeze in quick resume once, with the loud sound and everything. I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’re facing, because while I have some of them, I don’t get stuck pass a couple of seconds usually.
So the main menu comes on, and you can just navigate in the main menu to things like mods, Creation Club etc?
You have the Special Edition or did you buy the Anniversary Edition upgrade?
I upgraded, the menu itself starts out frozen but after a couple of seconds it just loads and I can navigate, go into mods(although there is a connection error that’s happening, more than usual) mod the game and play it, load it whatever. I think I remember not having the issue once since the update, and that was after I had to get rid of all mods because I had a t-posing issues.
Ah yes, I keep reading that AE pretty much fixes this issues for the most part. Not good that even with the paid upgrade there’s connection errors but that’s not the end of the world.
The wait continues for them to fix the SE. I would think there are plenty that did not do the upgrade.

Vanilla followers are solid. I would go straight for the mods.
Inigo is the most popular fully voiced follower mod. Follower mods can even have conversations with each other. I would recommend both Inigo and Lucien.
Oh no I’m good with Lydia, she’s never died and can take on a Draugr deathlord with little problem, whenever I give her a destruction staff she loves to go to town on everything with it, which is why I give her all the ones I can find.
I have heard a lot of good things about both Modded followers but I don’t feel I need any follower except Lydia for anything the game throws at me.
I accidentally killed her

A lot of people do, it happens, I have been lucky enough to never had it happen and when playing a destro mage I always go get the companions insight perk so that I don’t kill her with an elemental blast spell.
