Me too but it sounds like it’s going to be a GaaS, judging from the article.
Which IMO doesn’t suit these games.
I’m thinking Virtua Tennis would work well as a GaaS because it’s a competitive online game with a ton of opportunity to monetize (skins, individual clothing items, celebrations, shot trails, customizable home courts, etc) . They could use Rocket League as a template.
But a score attack game like CT and a single player open world game with no PvP elements like JSR… While I’m open to ideas it seems like putting a square peg in a round hole.
