And MS can still surprise with Gamepass titles.

It’s nice to see the studio get this long of a delay right off the bat. Like the Halo situation, when AAA studios get one long delay rather than a bunch of short ones, it gives them a lot more of what they need to make significant improvements. Back half of 2022 looks really damned stacked for Xbox and Game Pass right now.
Lots of good potentially good games coming out in February and March so there will be some interesting candidates for a Game Pass deal or two to fill out the early part of the year. Dying Light 2, CrossfireX campaign, Destiny 2 Witch Queen, Elden Ring, Martha is Dead, Grid Legends, Tunic, Tin Tina’s Wonderlands, and Weird West (already on GP) all launch within the next two months. I wouldn’t expect something like Elden Ring on GP but wouldn’t be shocked if something else on that list makes it.

It’s unfortunate, but it’s also terrible what’s happening in Ukraine. They can take as much time as they need, as long as the devs and their families stay safe.

I’ve seen others say when the release date changes for titles that Microsoft cancels the preorders and they experienced this with other titles before.
As you said, hope all will be fine for the folks under eminent threats.

All the best to the devs still fighting there. What we saw in that video, I can’t imagine being in such a situation. Horrible.
As for the game, I think sometime next year has a chance of it releasing, a lot of them have relocated to a safe country if I’m not wrong.

It had already disappeared from the GP list so it was bound to happen. Nothing really concerning at the moment. It’s probably delayed indefinitely due to the invasion.
I still keep the tile for the game installed. 
They can take all the time they need. I’ll be there day one.

This is one game i will buy the most expensive edition of that I can find, whenever it releases. Can’t even imagine the shit they’ve gone through. Both the ones who relocated and the ones who are on the frontlines fighting the orcs.

Yeah, can confirm. Deliver Us Mars got delayed to 2023 and I got my pre-order refunded. I don’t think this necessarily indicates anything.
Anyway, hoping for the best for the STALKER 2 team! I’m willing to wait for however long it takes.

Just a random thought - since at this point it’s probably NOT December 2022, can we rename this thread to just say S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 or something along those lines? I was thinking it was next year already & the title confused me when I saw it being mentioned.
I’m just hoping that the people making this are able to stay safe; knowing that they have people actively involved in protecting them and given the nature of Russia’s disregard for any life in the country, it does make it likely that they will lose coworkers. I can’t even imagine going through what they are both emotionally and everything else & still working on this…

It’s a standard thing has happened to me a few times most recently for saints row pre-order. IIRC I could re do the pre-order pretty much straight away when the new date was set.
