Sony may not have been enamoured with the performance of Death Stranding, but I really doubt this is happening.
No way would this happen lol there’s probably more chance of MS buying EA or UBI than Kojima Productions.

I also don’t believe this rumor but why would that stop Microsoft or anyone else from being able to buy them? the game would probably just be PlayStation exclusive for a while or forever if Sony owns the IP.
What a waste of money tbh.
