Windows Central has seen documentation suggesting Forza Horizon 6 will be announced at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
Sheesh, that would be awesome.
Crossing my fingers here! Can’t wait for the next iteration in the Forza Horizon franchise! We are used to short timeframes though between announcement and release date; I wonder if it will be the case here!
That would be peak, but also for anyone expecting Tokyo proper and street racing in cities, hey this is Forza Horizon. It’s about the driving across beautiful multiple biome terrain, for them to make a city racer, they would need to make an entire map dedicated to it.
So, expect less Tokyo Drift
And more Initial D
Mountain roads racing.
Tokyo Drift has mountain road touge too.
Sure, but Forza Horizon tends to do everything in between from beaches to volcanos.
If true, easily best TGS show. That said..
They need to get that Initial D Car (Trueno) in there!
The Toyota Trueno is in every Forza Horizon game.
Long have we waited…
I’m so excited to see what elements they try to evolve and what new features they bring this time around, every Forza has had some major feature as the cornerstone
- FH1 - open world festival
- FH2 - dynamic weather + off-roading
- FH3 - co-op + blueprints
- FH4 - seasons + shared world
- FH5 - event lab + accolades
I think Tokyo is off limits, as they’ve never done a major/capital city, esp. with the way FH maps are designed it would leave too little room for everything else. Only way I see it happening is a Tokyo city only DLC.
Rally adventures with narrow twisty roads were probably a test for FH6 Japan. I think the biggest focus will be car customisation this time round, it’s an area with a lot of room to do cool things in, esp. with Japanese car culture revolving heavily around it. As always I expect them to blow us away with the biomes and graphics.
If they do Japan, they better have an Initial D dlc in the works or else I’m going to say some heinous things on this forum.
Nate is now corroborating it as well and said he hasn’t heard about a Switch 2 version.
That being said, it’s honestly a shame how such a cool surprise has been revealed. It’s the same with Oblivion Remake. Imagine if we hadn’t know anything about it and bam…announced and released.
NatetheHate has replied to Windows Central that their info is accurate barring any pivots.
I take anything being said by leakers with a massive amount of salt. I learned that its a lot better and healthier that way, sides they get stuff wrong like any other person online, so i remain still until the actual event.
That is all am gonna say.
I think this year Xbox said they’d be physically at Tokyo Game Show (like the show floor for attendants). I went last year and Xbox had like zero presence outside of some branding with like mecha break. I won’t be attending this year, but I assume that if they’re going in person they have something big to share. Either Forza 6 or something else (and Phil did tease Forza for 2026).
Though also with the massive PS5 sales, I kinda expected them to hold off on six. Because I’d expect this one to be multiplatform day one. But who knows we’ll see.
If true, it will top FH5 easily.
Fuck insiders.

She’s a WWE wrestler. Surprised to not only find out she game FH, but even ask for one. Almost like she will be part of it since they did do that for 5 with celebrities based on the region.
The game is going to do insane numbers at launch considering it will probably launch on PS5 as well.
