Disappointing that Mass Effect Legendary Edition doesn’t support QR, or at least not the first game. Anyone playing ME2 or 3? Do those games support it?
I think those are all using the old XDK and as such needs to be extensively tested before Xbox will set the QR Compatible flag when the developers themselves did not set it.
I’m guessing its irrelevant which game you’re playing since its part of the same software.
Maneater isn’t QR compatible.
I remember last year when this thread was made that someone asked why tbis thread was made, that almost all games should work. Something along those lines.
It’s far from every game, in fact it’s plenty of games that just don’t work with it. I don’t understand why Maneater for example doesn’t work with it. I hope that eventually they can get it working for pretty much any game, but maybe I ask for too much.

Microsoft specified somewhere the following details are now how they’re handling Quick Resume.
- Games which use the new GDK are QR compatible
- Games which still use the old XDK are flagged as not compatible by default but the Developers themselves can flag their game as QR Compatible
- Games which still use the old XDK not flagged as compatible by the developer can be tested extensively by Microsoft to determine if they are QR compatible.
I believe earlier they flagged all games as QR compatible but then ran into issues, so switched the default to off until specified by Devs or Testing evidence. Given the earlier handling is why it didn’t make sense to have this thread at that time. Now that default behavior has changed, it makes sense.

Somewhat surprisingly to me Dead Space 3 is compatible.
Then I assume Scarlet Nexus is using the new GDK because the demo works with. This also explains why several BC games work fine, but others don’t.

While it SAYS quick resume is running when I have the demo on, it isn’t using it at all. I switched to another game in QR, and then checked the list and the demo was not there.
Come tf on now.
Quick Resume has been kind of spotty for me recently.
It’s been working well with Dark Souls 3 (other than the online disconnecting…) and Slay the Spire, but Death’s Door and Flight Simulator aren’t working with it, even when all other games are closed AND I’ve rebooted the console.
Any tips? Starting to get kind of worried about these issues.
It’s a strange situation…
For me games like Destroy all humans and Knockout City don’t work with it, but for someone here on Era these games do work. It’s very strange. And just overall many of these indie games on Game Pass don’t work with it for me, but something like Recore works fine, Gears 5 too.
