Can people please remember that there are three console manufacturers all doing well and all with quite significantly different business models. For one or the other to do well doesn’t mean failure for the second or third. 3 thriving business models should be celebrated, not talked down or dismissed.

People really like making fake lists, huh? They don’t even know that GT Sport is the old one, not the new one, lmao. Anyway 20 titles for 40 minutes are too many, for comparison Xbox show had 30 titles in 90 minutes almost witbout any break.

In this thread it’s mostly about us hoping not a ridiculous amount of games will have exclusivity deals tied to it.

Parris saying it will be great for gamers makes me hope more that many of this will just be multiplatform all the way, with a few money hats.

Doesn’t sony’s console market share also play a factor in them getting away with all these timed exclusives? I am pretty sure its easier for square to keep a game off xbox than it is to keep one of playstation. I think if we want to see less sony moneyhats ms will need to gain console market share even though they continue to allude to the fact that console market share doesn’t matter them its all cloud and gamepass or whatever.

SE knows full well that FF just doesn’t sell as well on PS and that’s a humongous understatement too. So if Xbox wanted to have FF16 timed exclusive I bet it would cost them much,much more money than it does for Sony.

I would love to see a remake of the original Twisted Metal. Loved that fucking game!!! Twisted Metal 2 was great too but I preferred the original game. Never played the others.

I’m not actually going to “melt down” over “banger” announcements because I have a PS4 Pro, and do plan to get a PS5 eventually.

But the whole dread and melting down I was doing was mostly over the fact that they’re going to have games I’m going to have to shell out $70 for.

That’s the kicker of it.
